As a child of the 80's, my favorite lyrics are invariably the ones that are cheesier than all the others I've heard combined. At present, it's a three-way draw between:
1) "Go into the stormy night, I can't stop burning heart", an exceptionally hilarious Engrish line from JAM Project's Crest of Z's
2) "I've got the heart of a lion, and the wings of a bat BECAUSE IT'S MIDNITE" from 80's parody band Limozeen's hit song Because, It's Midnite
3) The entire lyrics of Warriors by Freedom Call
Honorary mentions go out to Journey, RATT, all fantasy metal bands, the entire nation of Japan and all the particularly incoherent 80's bands I forgot about.
