At the moment i'm playing the half life series so for me it would be the anti-grav gun...so simple yet so destructive...especially with a saw blade...

That's my personal favorite, following the keyblade and the plasma pistol from Halo 3.

Besides the Gravity Gun in Half Life 2, I'm also fond of the Shotgun, which I use most commonly alongside the Gravity Gun. It's the short powerful enemy-annihilating bursts that made it my second most favorite weapon in the game.
I also use the shotgun to great effect in other games, including MW2, Bad Company 2 and Team Fortress 2, mostly for close encounters.

Yup, that would be my pick to. Although the crazy arsenal from Dead Rising deserves a mention too, especially the flying V electric guitar. Smashing zombies with one of those is F*cking Rock 'n' Roll.
