I'm trying to find some good video game related web comics, and i want to know which ones are your favorite or what ones you recommend.

I enjoyed VGCats, and read them all. so that's the one i liked most.
I also liked Darths & Droids, because it's done something good with ep 1 2 & 3, that lucas failed on.

what do you recommend?

The only ones I read are XKCD (which is technology based as opposed to game based), Critical Miss and Name Game. Not much help here.

Without a doubt, Romantically Apocolyptic.

EDIT: Not video game-related, I know, but still a great read.

Video game comics? Those I honestly don't seek out. I was all set to lament the loss of A Lesson is Learned but the Damage is Irreversible.

If you are 18 or older, Oglaf is actually pretty damn funny. I won't put up a link, because it is technically considered porn, albeit very humorous.

The video game comics I keep an eye open for are Critical Miss and Awkward Zombie. Not a big fan of the last one, but I keep checking it weekly anyways. ._o
Also read through Looking For Group twice a year or something.

Brawl In The Family is the only video game webcomic I've seen to be remotely worth my while. Good for nintendo fans and those of us who do not think that jokes concerning male genitalia are at all funny.

Not a gamer comic, but my favorite webcomic ever is Archipelago. Check it out.

Neither exactly game based, but do incorporate some game things

the punchline is machismo. Takes macho video game heroes and puts them back into real life. To quote the webcomic "there's a day in every space marines life when the contract is up and they gotta carve a life with the rest of us average joes" So just imagine Kratos working at a best buy. Things like that.

Let me check my bookmarks...

As for videogame comics, I'd recommend reading "8-bit Theater" (currently completed).
To expand from thine original question to gaming in general, I would add:

1) XKCD (intellectual gag-a-day, updates MWF)
2) Goblins: Life Through Their Eyes (subversion of standard fantasy setting, updates randomly)
3) Order of the Stick (Excellent plot + meta humor in a D&D setting, updates randomly)
4) Erfworld (A gamer is sucked into a videogame-like world in the middle of a climactic battle. He must rules-lawyer his way to survival. Updates randomly, and I'm beginning to notice a theme here.)

To go even further from videogame comics, I would recommend A Miracle of Science (Mad Science is a medical disorder in a sci-fi setting. Completed) and Girl Genius ("Mad Scientists rule the world. Badly." Updates MWF).

Videogame wise, The Punchline is Machismo.
Any others? If you like D&D, Order of the Stick is awesome, and some great fur ones I read are Ballerina Mafia, Concessions (18+), and Twokinds.
Adventures of Dr. McNinja and Axe Cop are also awesome.

I have several I enjoy quite a bit.

For VERY nerdy comedy, I go for Looking for Group.
Bear Nuts is also good for random fun. Think Carebears if created by Adult Swim.
In terms of video games, I have yet to find a comic as enjoyable as Ctrl+Alt+Del.

But if I'm being honest, I believe the absolute BEST webcomic on the internets is Jack.
If you don't believe me and haven't seen it, GO CHECK IT OUT. NOW!

EDIT: While Jack IS amazing, the themes may be FAR too "mature" for many. Beware.

Cyanide and Happiness is great. Here on the Escapist I generally like Critical Miss and occasionally Name Game.

[sub][sub]I sure do miss Stolen Pixels though.[/sub][/sub]
