me and my friends had a clan and hung out all day on the multiplayer, it was just extremely fun and it sucked me in, you'd be imagined how strong the community still is after all those years and 5 games

Damnit...I don't really have a favorite game but a few favorites. But Diablo II might be it because of how many times I've payed that game and how many late nights I've sunk into it.

After that it's Silent Hill 3, Assassin's Creed II, and Pokemon in nor particular order.

Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion hands down. I think I've put a few thousand hours into the game since I got it near release... I was shocked to find that I enjoyed it more than Morrowind another game I put an obscene amount of time into...

Wait did I just say that I thought Oblivion was better than Morrowind? *hides from the burning fire*

Knights of the Old Republic was and still is a masterpiece.
If they brought it back with HD graphics and a few tweaks im sure it would be considered the greatest creation man has produced.

Chrono Trigger.
Fun combat, huge amount of variety*, and it lacks common elements of older RPGs that have not aged well (random encounters, fighting on a map, ect.). And the music...such a great soundtrack.

*"Okay...we've got the silent protagonist, the smart best friend, and the tomboy princess...pretty standard so far. Oh, hey, that knight is a frog!"

Planescape: Torment. My PERSONAL favorite story I have had experienced in ANY piece of fiction.
Deus Ex- An excellent game that allows the player to play in a variety of styles and I like the rpg elements involved as well.
Deus Ex 2- I THINK THIS WAS A GREAT GAME. It just wasn't as good as the first one and the areas are more small and linear but I still think it is better than most first person games.. ::runs away::
Fallout 2- probably the best overall RPG ever made. Note, there are games that do things better than it, such as Planescape: Torment with story, Witcher with long lasting unforeseen results of choices, or Arcanum for nonlinearity. But I think Fallout 2 is just the best overall WRPG even if it isn't' the best in any single area.

Sly Cooper 2: Band of Thieves

Whenever I think about that game it makes me happy, I love playing FO3 and RE4, but Sly 2 is the game that I think of best overall in the history of ever

boarderlands out of all games is my favorite. I've played it over 8 times through and I've co-oped it with 3 different friends and it never gets old.

wow... nobody has said it. Pokemon. I'd probably say my favorite is fire red/ leaf green.

A close second is the original Kingdom Hearts.

A verrrry close third is the original Super Smash Bros. (but i think that is because ive only played against one person who i know can beat me more than 1 out of 10 times.
