Like someone else said, the part of RDR where you're riding to your family. I actually took my time to take in the emotion of it all.

The first time I flew in to stop the collectors in Mass Effect 2. It was really epic.

Collecting all of the riddles in Arkham Asylum was a great feeling, too.

Sitting in the Sniper's Nest in Fallout:NV with a silenced sniper rifle and watching the Legion guys standing around wondering why their friends' heads kept exploding.

In Mass Effect 1: Virmire, just the entire mission on Virmire.
It's my favorite level/mission/quest in any game, ever!

I can't decide.

- The mission in MW2 where you're running along the rooftops of the favela
- The final battle of Half-Life 2: Episode Two
- The first time you fight the first colossus in Shadow of the Colossus
- Finally 5-starring Beats and Pieces on expert on DJ Hero

I'll probably add more when I remember more.

One that comes to mind is that bit in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic where:

you find that you are Darth Revan

Hell yes. Gorgeous location, great storyline with the Krogan cloning facility and the reaper encounter - just awesome.

I hate to say it, but I think the most excited I have ever been in a video game is the opening area of WoW for the elves, everything just seemed so cool..

It's kinda sad now because any games I play now can't live up to it.

Also I like the whole idea to the whole "Vault" thing in the original Fallout 3, the start of that game made me feel things I haven't felt before.

The one that immediately came to my mind is the end of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for the N64. This is back when god was young, when this Zelda game was the greatest game of its time and when I was a child. When you finally defeat ganondorf, having conquered all the temples, and see him buried underneath his own tower.... Only for him to burst out and transform into Ganon! A damn good fight follows.

Another memorable moment is playing resident evil 4 with my friend. We were at a part where you are in a pit, then a load of chainsaw-wielding evil dudes burst through the walls. Simply fleeing while hearing the roaring of chainsaw was, quite simply, pure squeaky-bum time.

Possible Fallout 3 spoilers coming up...
There are several moments I enjoyed in Fallout 3, first emerging from the cave into dazzling daylight was a very nice touch. Also the village (can't remember the name) full of inbred cannibals where, from the beginning, something isn't quite right, and you gradually realise what is going on. A great part is vault 106 (the one with psychoactive drugs in the air-con), I found exploring it very exciting.

*spoilers obviously*

-when ghosts dies in MW2, i had no idea i cared so much about a character that hardly ever talked until i saw a bullet fly through his head

-getting a helicopter on CoD4 multiplayer before anybody else even fired a shot (it was with an M4 and i was at a LAN party with 9 other guys, there was alot of screaming the first minute of the game)

-beating gears of war 1 on insane by myself (my brother still doesnt believe i did it but i dont have live so he knows im not lying)

-beating all of the challenges in MW2 on veteran by myself (even the ones with co-op, i just plugged in another controller and played both perspectives)

-killing all of the deathclaws in F:NV for the remnant armor (over 20) and then being stupid enough to wait there for a few hours only to find all of the deathclaws respawned in the same area about 50 fett in front of me... i wasnt in sneak mode and im a sniper, not a heavy gunner. my companion bought me enough time to get to high ground and snipe them all one-by-one. in the end i had 30 claws and had almost leveled up twice

The first boss fight in the original Silent Hill. Taking place in the basement of the Alternate School, after fighting your way through the school, you make your way to the basement, slip through the world's evilest revolving door, and then, nothing but darkness. Slowly, a light comes on, slowly revealing itself as a flaming corpse. The entire time it's lighting up, you're in control. And when the light is bright enough, the creature appears, a large salamander with nothing better to do than eat your alive. While the fight itself is nothing special, the opening, with no lead in save for darkness, is one of the greatest moments I've ever experienced.

When I got the knack of working in the GECK, and I realized that I could fix all of those nagging irregularities with Fallout 3's apparel system. (Can't wear a motorcycle helmet, glasses, and mask together... or wear a 'sleek' men's style metal helmet on a female character? Not anymore!) Add in the mod that had broken apart all of the "shoulder mapads" from the various armor sets, and I was able to construct personalized wasteland armor for my characters...

For actual in-game goodness, my most recent moment was realization that you could go from pure "puppy-dogs and sweetness" good karma to full-on "walking apocalypse" evil from having a single weak moment at/near the end of inFamous. Sure, I sacrificed my love for the common good... Yeah, I helped bring Empire City back from ruin... But attempt to annihilate another couple thousand people to gain a bit more power, and I'm suddenly the scum of the earth for all time? Okay, whatever... But you gotta admit, the anti-matter lightning is pretty sweet, right?

Loved that boss fight. Also

1. Antlion Siege in HL2ep2

2. Ravenholm in HL2.

3. Chainsaw zombie appearance in Doom 3. Tiny room, huge zombies with chainsaws.

4. All of Uncharted 2. Especially the truck chase, and the train, and the trainwreck, and...

5. Flood appearance in Halo 1.

6. Necron Monolith vs The World in Dawn of War. I want to see a Monolith/Bloodthirster vs Baneblade/Avatar battle, just to see what happens.

7. Cheats in the Age Of Empires games. bigdaddy never gets old.

8. First vision of a Big Daddy in Bioshock. (I only saw it in a demo.)

9. Massive battles in Star Wars Battlefront 2 with maximum reinforcements. On an enclosed map.

10. The last part of Portal. And Still Alive.
