My favorite is Resident Evil 4 because it originally opened a door for me into real gaming. Before then I had played a bit of Call of Duty and Pikmin, but Resident Evil 4 started an addiction.

PC version, I hope. I loved the console version, but the PC version is unimaginably brilliant when modded. Even challenges A Link to the Past for me.

FFVII (PS1, although it is the only one I've played)

If I had to choose 1 out of these it would be JSRF.
