I heard the album at a very weird part of my life and it helped me though some hard times.
This is more my favorite "album" (its an EP but w/e) of right now.

Weird, Hybrid thory popped into my head when I saw the thread title - but I' have to go with Muse - Origin of Symmetry. So many amazing tracks, and the best guitar riff of all time (IMO)

The music of my youth/childhood (I am just 20 ^_^)
"An jedem zweiten Krüppel verdien' ich eine Mark
Und wenn er am krepieren ist, verkauf' ich ihm den Sarg."

That's my favourite song by them though.

It's a tie...

"Light It Up" by Rev Theory

"Invincible" by Two Steps From Hell

Both incredible and nearly flawless, with every song being immensely enjoyable. It's rare, but when an entire album just clicks, it's magical.

So yeah for me it would have to be Hybrid Theory.
Hybrid Theory is a very good album. Good choice.

For me, you can't top Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon.

Kid A or In Rainbows by Radiohead, they are both amazing albums, and I can't decide which one is better.

I guess "The Better Life" by 3 doors down. Mainly due to the fact it features my favorite song (which i love because of the epic feel of the song). Along with a bunch of pretty good songs like and many others.

Lets see.

Peter Gabriel - Security

Paul Simon - Graceland

or

REM - Automatic for the People.

I am unfortunately too lazy to provide links and Youtubes.

Common Dreads by Enter Shikari.

May have dropped the independent production side of things, but I certainly can't find fault in the result.

Music with lyrics? I'd have to go with LP as well. most of my preffered music is in gaming and anime, As I prefer lyric-less music.
Do you mean lyric-less as in classical or lyric-less as in electronica (the ones that don't have lyrics)?

OP: About Linkin Park, while I don't know Linkin Park extremely well I do know them (obviously not personally but you know what I mean) and so while I'm not sure whether I like their old stuff better or not, I do know I hate it when they try to rap. I like rap, when it comes from rap artists. Linkin Park are not rappers. They should stick to what they know, rock/metal music.
As for my favourite albums, I'm ashamed to say I don't own any of these classics.
However, out of what I do know and own, these are my favourite albums:
So many good songs, but I'll go for this one:
This was in GTA IV, it seems as if a lot of people looked it up but never looked up any more of their music. A lot of their best songs aren't on Youtube, it seems only 3 of their songs from their only album is on youtube. This is a good one though.
I own Bleach, Nevermind and In Utero and while the others are pretty good there's a reason Nevermind is a classic. Since everyone knows SLTS, have this:
One of the best electronica songs ever.
Even my metalhead dad likes this album.

Jeeez, I hope someone actually reads this I've spent so much time putting all this in. SOMEBODY ENJOY IT, PLEASE! :p
I'll enjoy it. Even though I only have two of those albums.

Still two very good albums. For some reason when I listen to thunder by the prodigy I think of the Vietnam war, and the awesome 60's etc. (You know what I mean....right?) And invaders must die reminds me of Motorstorm: Pacific Rift. And that's good. You wanna know why?
Because Motorstorm is AWESOME!!!!!

Like, Canada awesome. Yeah.
Also, Feel Good Inc. Is all well and good, but let's show some love for Last Living Souls. That's another cool track, done in Albarn's typical urban gothic style. Or something.
EDIT: Crap, forgot to post my own.

I love Jamiroquai's singles album. Very funky and delightful, from start to finish. Pendulum's immersion is another top-notch album, I find it much inspiring.

Finally, Heart Like a Sky, by Spandau Ballet. For some reason it sold poorly, which is strange, because it some some really nice, soothing romantic tracks.

Sold well in Italy though.....Just go with it.

It will forever be '10,000 Days' By TOOL. Vicarious being the one single that made me extremely fall in love with such item. It will forever be my altime favorite.
I can agree with this one, infact I'm going to place my second favourite album of all time in the OP.
