What is your favourite EVER class and why?

In military combat games, I usually like to be some kind of rifleman. I enjoy clearing out rooms and capturing points with little more than a rifle, a few grenades, and a couple of teammates to bail me out if shit goes bad.
In RPGs, I usually like to be a kinda of 'battlemage.' Being able to use magic while beating someone over the head with a sword is greatly satisfying. It's also nice to know invisibility spells to get out of bad situations.

In most JRPGS (well, Final Fantasy) my favorite class is the Dragoon.
Kain was a Dragoon and my favorite childhood RPG was Final Fantasy II (IV).
In Diablo II, I loved the Sorceress. Was Frozen Orb and as soon as it was nerfed and synergies were put in I made a fire sorc and it was pretty wicked.
In D&D (I've only played it maybe twice) I always played a rogue.
So, Dragoon, Sorceress, Rogue.

I tend to go long ranged or sneak. So, using CoD4 as an example, the class I use the most (assuming I'm playing Hardcore) is either Sniper-Silenced MP5, Claymores, Overkill, Dead silence, or the same thing split into two classes, one for each gun, with UAV Jammer instead of Overkill.
Also worth mentioning, I always set out to be a different kind of character every time I play Fallout 3, but damn if I don't always end up putting all my points into Sneak, Lockpick, and Speech.

I usually tend to go for speed, so my class of choice is definitely kensai from Baldur´s Gate 2.
Hooray for multiple attacks per round! For the same reason I also like FF classes (or jobs), that allow you to wield two weapons, like ninja or karateka. That is, when they used to have jobs.

My favorite shooter class is the soldier from TF2. In RPGs I like classes I design myself. In a game where it wasn't available, my favorite would be the Scout from KoTOR.
Note: My favorite endear is JSF Assault. I mainly use deep strike riflemen.

The Medic in TF2.
Why? Because he's the goddamn Medic.
Strangely enough that's the only game I play as a medic class in. Though in most games with classes I usually choose some type of support character.

Monk if its the monk that uses fists and staves to beat people. Druid otherwise. Those two are followed VERY closely by Dragoon.
