Empire Earth - I just loved how I could load it up, go from caveman to spaceman and whoop some AI ass in skirmish. Ha got nukes first and your still in medieval times losers! Send in the parachute troopers!

Ah, the amount of nostalgia I feel is amazing. Loved playing this on Playstation 1.Gardenclaw said:Command and Conquer red alert. It had the best death noises for its units and everyone loves a bit of hell march.........
I loved jacking lone destroyers and cruisers vs the AI with my salvage corvettes. So damn funBaby Tea said:And we have a winner!octafish said:Homeworld 1 and 2. Epic space battles, three dimensional space.
No other RTS keeps me as enthralled as Homeworld. Just the vast emptiness of space around you, the great sizes of your fleets, the 3D space movement...the game is just so freaking awesome. Easily my favourite, hands down. Nothing else even touches the Homeworld series.
Agreed. There's so few games where your units feel like they're actually doing something other than staring at enemies until their health bars fell off. CoH's units felt real, like your riflemen were actually standing there picking away at the Nazis.bl4ckh4wk64 said:Company of Heroes, for it's somewhat realism and the pure amount of mods there are for it. It was also the first really good RTS I played.
I loved the original and its expansions (especially Dark Crusade). The game really captures the brutality of the 40k universe. Although I enjoy DOW 2, it failed to capture the quintessential 40k 'brutal and epic' feel as effectively as the original.oplinger said:Dawn of War. ....because it's freaking Dawn of War.
Really? Warcraft 3 (and CS 1.6) is played by cool people in my country. It is my favorite RTS too. I don't play it anymore though. Everyone moved on to DoTA and WoW. I don't really like that stuff.Littlee300 said:Warcraft 3. So much hours put into it...
I feel like such a nerd...
