I enjoy long rock ballads, is that such a bad thing? My personal favourite being Rush's "2112 Overture/Temple of Syrinx." What is your favourite 15 minute+ song?

Pretty much anything in the way of classical music does it for me. It also happens to be the only thing I listen to longer than 15+ minutes.

Fantastic song! Although I think Ghost's Love Score is better.

OT:- In the presence of enemies Part's 1 and 2 by Dream Theater from the album Systematic Chaos. In fact all there songs are brilliant and about half of the are over 15 minutes. Octavarium is about 40 minutes and its awesome.

In terms of a 15mins plus song, it'd be either the live version of 'Green Grass And High Tides' by the Outlaws, 'Space Trucking' by Deep Purple, 'Gates of Delirium' by Yes or 'The Calling' by Carlos Santana and Eric Clapton

on the topic, there are two songs that spring to mind that are >10 minute songs that really shouldnt be.
first is rober palmers Bad Cae Of Loving You...i think the full song is 20minutes and it never really changes. torture

second is Death Sex by the distillers; very good song for about 3 minutes and then its feedback and hell. seriously, just leave it be.
