What is your FPS of choice?

Halo is my favorite right now. I went through a MW2 phase but its back to halo. I need to get ready for the beta in less than a month.
Or I need to get a PC. My 400 Dell laptop has a hard enough time just running regular programs let alone games. Dropping it on the floor didn't help either.

Crysis has been my favourite shooter for a long time, and I can't see that changing for quite some time.
It has a staggering amount of flaws (Insane physics glitches, enemies can take an awful lot of bodyshots to kill, the aliens suck, and the shooting is occasionally clunky), but it's still insanely fun. It's also a great game for faffing about.

I suppose it would have to be Borderlands, Gears, Resistance and Halo 3. And I suppose it would be pretty close between those four.
I like the cover mechanic of Gears. Resistance and Halo are kind of run and gun games for me, which is okay, but I think I prefer the tactics of the cover system. Borderlands is in there simply because it's four player co-op, which is fun.
One of these days I'll give one of those more realistic military shooter games a try.

I have loved many first person shooters over the years starting with golden eye (N64) going on through timesplitters 2 (gamecube) up through Half Life 2 (PC) and more recently the L4D games. Currently i play alot of vs mode on L4D2 on the PC and i love it.

My fps of choice is always Counter-Strike. Though ive been playing killzone 2 online for a long while
I've got 3. HL2, TF2 or Bioshock (1 or 2) TF2 for it's non-stop action and HL2 and bioshock for it's imersion and great stories.
