Been playing for 30+ years and have played every system since the Atari 2600. Have even become a bit of an online celeb for a bit due to my video game fanfics as well.

My brother had the Gameboy which I shared and he bought the SNES which again I shared with him. The Gameboy color was the first console I bought. I was still playing with those consoles during the Playstation and N64 era and a bit of PC gaming. I gave half of my money to my bro so he pay the other half for the Gamecube and I also bought the GBA. Lastly I bought the Wii and the DS.

NES around SMB3 era, learned to read playing Dragon Warrior (which I now know as Dragon Quest, ofc) and Final Fantasy with my Mom. From there to SNES/GB, then N64/PC/GBA, then PS2/DS/PSP/PC, and now I have a 360, a DS for myself and one for my wife, a PSP, a PS3 and a decent enough gaming pc (can at least still run Witcher 2 and most everything else I've thrown at it, but its gonna need upgrading soon)

Gaming has always been a huge part of my life, while not consuming the entirety of it. I'm proud to have been playing as long as I have and to continue to play. I've beaten more games then I can remember names :)

Technically started with the Atari 2600, but that was an old unit around my house. I consider I started with the SNES, then Gameboy - Gameboy Color - N64 - GBA - GCN - PC/Wii. The Wii mostly for GCN albeit.

NES in my own room when I was born, SNES in the front room, N64 in there too once it came out, PS1 at the same time in my dads room, Starcraft on every computer I've had since it came out, and now I'm working on a gaming PC for Starcraft 2, I've got a 360 and Wii in my room, and I wouldn't mind a PS3, if I had money for it and a new TV. I was born a gamer, and I will die one, probably with a controller of some kind in my hands. Hell, I wanna be buried with an N64, mainly cause that is my favorite console cause it was the first one that was bought for me. Everything else was pretty much my mom and dads. You always remember your first console, and that one was the first one I did a full night marathon. But the SNES and NES both have games I would buy on every console from now on. So I'm mainly a console scrub, but Starcraft is my favorite game... Including the N64 version. :D

N64 -> Gameboy -> GBA -> Gamecube + PS2 + Xbox-> DS -> Computer -> Wii -> 360 -> 3DS

And I still pretty much play them all :D
Well, except Gameboy, because playing Pokemon Yellow hurts my eyes.
I bought my own: N64, GBA, DS, Computer, Wii, 360 and 3DS.
And I've bought all of my games minus.... 8 or so out of about 80.

The odyssey began on a Commodore 64 which we got second-hand, though we could turn it on and then go make a sandwich before it was properly booted. Not exactly a force to be reckoned with. But my parents soon bought a NES, and we all played a LOT of Duck-hunt. Sega Genesis came next, and with it that lovely if short-lived joy Sega Channel. Got into PC gaming when we got our first 200 Mhz computer. And then for a long time nothing happened. N64 when I could afford it, and I Goldeneye'd myself nearly to the point of coma. Bought an X-box in high school, a 360 for college, and a wicked laptop to play games on the go when I became a wage-slave.

It's been a good run, so far, these past decades. Looking forward to seeing what's next.

Odyssey > NES > Gameboy > SNES > GBA > N64 + GCN > Wii > 360 > PS3 + DS

All the while playing games on the PC as well. And yes... I didn't own an N64 until AFTER the Gamecube came out. Yes, I was a Nintendo Fanboy... not so much anymore.

My parents had an Atari 2600. First game I played was Pitfall. I started young and never looked back.

I actually learned to play computer and to type at age 3.

Computer > Atari > Sega Genesis > N64 > Gamecube > PS2 > XBOX360 > PS3.

I still have my computer, although it's now a tricked out gaming rig. I also still have my Genesis (!), I think the Atari is laying somewhere around my basement, and I have my XBOX360 and PS3 hooked up right now.

I started with Commodore 64 and Apple IIs. I don't remember gaming on any of the early PCs but the 286 had a ton of awesome games. We also got an NES (which still works and is attached to a still working Commodore 64)

The NES is the only console we/I have owned, since then it's been a progression of PCs for me:

286
486
P90
PII 400Mhz
P3 1.7 GHz
Core2Duo 3GHz

I hail from the platforming genre. My first console was a PS1 and with it came Crash Bandicoot. I really like FPS games but platforming is my roots.

When I was six I saw my friend playing his GameBoy in class and decided I needed one in my life. I had it for a year and then got my first home console: a PlayStation
Then I got a PS2, GameCube and Xbox. During this time I got every single model GameBoy and then a DS. I have a nasty habit of going on and off handheld gaming and, so, kinda wasting my money on them. Then I decided to catch up on missing out on an N64 by buying one for £15, score!
I now have a 360, PS3 and DSi. I also still have all of my old GameBoys (GameBoy, GB Colour, GBA and GBA SP) and my GameCube, which I still love to death

I believe you were playing Goldeneye on the N64. Here's the "m" with the z button:

OP: I grew up watching my brother, and I can't even remember as much to know what game I first played, but the first console I owned was a PS1.
