Mine is the average living room. Nothing fancy, although I do have a seat I always sit on. Heck my T.V. is still SD!
I tried playing PS3 in SD

it looked like shit..to put it as nicly as possible..blurry and just..muddy

I supose once you experince HD you cant go back (hence me finding myTV a little less than perfect)
I guess Xbox 360 was the right choice then ;). I played Black Ops on an HD T.V. and it looked nice but it didn't look too flash. My only real complaint is the lack of bold text. I couldn't read jack in Arkham Asylum. Vanquish is the only game that had this option >.>.
hmmm I may have come off a little snobish there..
Nah it was fine. It wasn't elitist in the slightest![/quote]

anyway isnt there some difference between the xbox and ps3 in regards to HD?..like the ps3 is "real" HD or somthing? I dont know, I know nothing about the xbox
Well I knew Blu-Ray was part of the cost for the PS3 so why pay for something I can't even use?

My chair, my mouse, my laptop, and an external soundcard and hard drive behind it. The laptop is on a cooler. My earphones. What more do I need?

Recently set up the granny flat at home wiht a partially folded futon. Got a decent HDTV (40 inch LCD) and recently added surround sound speakers. Even with 4 consoles, I'm quite insistent on everything being kept tidy, because once I start letting it go, it's spaghetti junction before you know it and half my games are lying face up.

Wherever I set things up, I can't game in a place with lots of people walking around. I feel way too awkward.

I stay in my bed while at my mums on my xbox or laptop. Its a darkish room and I hve a good tv there.
At my dads I also stay in my bed but only on my laptop. I'm in bed a lot but still strangely fit.

L-shaped desk, one side for gaming, one for music making.

So on the right side I have a nice 24in LCD monitor sitting on top of a box, G15 and G9 in front of that. Did have a logitech 5.1 system but got rid of it a while ago. In the centre portion of the desk I have a lava lamp, padKontrol, and Pro40 audio I/O.

Left side of the desk has three levels, top being for my 2nd screen (22in LCD) and my main monitors, second for piano and other assorted audio stuff (and portable HD atm), bottom level for smokes and ashtray.

Rest of the space is taken up by unopened mail, leads, empty smoke packs and empty cans/bottles. Really need to do a clean.

I've got my PC and PS3 on my desk in my room.
The play my PS3 through my PC monitor which I prefer over a big TV as I like to be up close to the screen rather than 2 or 3 metres away.
forgive my technical redardedness...but does that connect through HDMI..what about sound?

I assume you use the contoller for pS3? (havnt heard of a keyboard/mouse being possible)

but yah..Im usually really close to the TV

yeah i love anime and J-RPGs ^_^ Figures a sort of my obsession, every pay day i buy one, problem is i'm out of space to put more figures, so until i make shelves, no new figures for me. As for gaming figures i wish they make FemShep Figures, i want it so bad.

My parents bought a giant TV a long time ago and put it in the living room. I think they've maybe watched a total of three hours of TV since they bought it 3 years ago.

Sucks because I have to keep the volume down, but damn do my games look pretty.

I have a dining room attached to my living room, so 360,ps3,wii are all in the living room hooked up to a big TV. Then in the dining room I have all the PC stuff, iMac, and my brothers gaming PC (with LCD projector hooked up for epic). We made our own table, about 12 feet long, from 2'' thick worktop stuff and 6 aluminium legs. I like elbow room while I work :D - I have a 360 hooked up to my PC monitor, so I can play Skyrim, work, and watch TV at the same time. Having just a long table instead of desks suits me, keeps it uncluttered and plenty space underneath.

My 360 is currently in the living room, connected to the huge TV I got there, but I hardly ever play it. The PS3 is connected to the smaller TV in my room, in front of my bed.
I most often lie on my stomach when I play games, with a pillow under my chest to balance the weight. I shift between laying flat on the bed or having all my weight on the elbows. After a few days of intense gaming my elbows are sore as hell.

The ideal set up would be to have a much bigger TV(the one in the living room doesn't have HD) and a kick ass chair with a foot stool in front of it. Will probably arrange something like that when I move out.

I've crammed everything I have into my small bedroom; a low table with my 32" HD TV, PS3 and GameCube and a big desk opposite of that with my gaming PC. All my games are stored on two shelves above the TV:

I also managed to cram an old lounge chair in my room for console gaming, instead of my office chair. It just fits, but if I put it in the proper spot I have to climb over my bed to exit my room. Basically ever piece of furniture is max 20 cm away from the other, with less than a meter of walking space in between everything. I prefer to call it cosy. It also means there's less to clean.

Gaming chair hooked up to your PS3 :) - I bough a fairly cheap one, and it's bloody great - especially with the sound cranked up. It's the best game audio and most comfortable way to play IMO, I would still be using my gaming chair if I could find the power supply for it.

And that's still missing my way too big Steam collection. [http://www.steamcalculator.com/id/cowabungaa]

Honestly I'm happy for it, I couldn't store all those games in my little room.
