I have an ancient office chair that has been re-stuffed and recovered about three times without removing the old coverings. It's pretty tatty, but kind of comfortable. It is a good height for my desk, and I haven't been able to find one I like better.

My gaming throne is a small couch that is on the verge of dying. The left side has almost completely collapsed but I still love sitting on that side. It is mainly due to the fact it is closest to the TV.

I have myself a lovely office chair. From my WoW days and now Starcraft 2, I can easily get down 10 hours of gaming in a single day, if not more, so anything else would just destroy me!

I always stand up when gaming. Since my TV is on a platform, it looks dark if I sit down and look up.

That's an horrible experience if you ask me, especially for console.

It's not bad at all. I prefer to stand up when gaming, it helps me focus more.

I bet it does but how do you manage pro-longed session of gaming? I know I would easily burn three hours in a night, but standing? Maybe you are used to it.

Doesn't affect me. I'm already used to it.

I have a papasan that I like to use, cause I can pretty much take any kind of sitting position I want with a bit of a shift in weight.

I actually have a nice blue recliner with foot stool. I probably spend 90% of my time at home either in bed or in that chair.

My family seems to have a habit of handing me the cheap stuff. Every chair i've had has been super uncomfortable and falls apart after a few months, which as it stands means i have to live with a broken chair. I have a sleeping bag draped over it so it doesn't hurt to sit on.

Damn those with a comfy chair! *shakes fist*

I have a rather old green recliner. =] its an ugly piece of furniture, but it's a two stage recliner, which means I can lie near horizontally if I wish... its also fun to watch friends topple backwards when they attempt the recline it fully for the first time =D

Edit: I play consoles (Ps3, for I do not feel the need to defile my home with a 360) mostly, but when I play on my PC, I use an old office chair of the spinny variety. It's fun to spin while its loading =]
