Just to let you know, it does get better after that. Its still cliched as all hell but it was enjoyable once the story kicked in.
Thanks for the heads up, I'll give it another go.

Another disappointment came from show with a ridiculously convoluted narrative or plot.
3 Examples are GiTS (To a slight extent, at least it makes sense in the end.), Witch Hunter Robin, And Ergo proxy (To be fair with a name like that I should have guessed.)

Also, Hellgirl [Jigoku Shoujo], though I did like it and am currently watching twin mirrors the show goes nowhere, fast.

Gurren Lagann Just a Average Show with Painfully typical Anime Characters, and yet some people think it the greatest thing humanity will ever do. I got to the time skip and just quit.
Well, that is sad to hear. I don't think it's the best anime(that's FLCL for me) ever but I greatly enjoyed it myself. To each his own.

True. It wasn't bad I just kept waiting for all the epic stuff to happen It just never delivered up to the hype. Everything that happened felt average for any typical Shonen Anime/Manga

Then at least do yourself a favor and look up Tenga Toppen Gurren Lagann final battle on Youtube. If you like mech fights, this one is the definition of Epic I can almost absolutely guarantee.

Seems fair enough.

the entire Rosario+vampire anime. It's still one of my favourite mangas, but the anime completely ruined the series. it basically removed all the action and drama and left only the fanservice. which wouldn't be a bad thing if it had actually ended with the main character and his love interest getting together but instead

the main character give some stupid reason as to why he isn't going to pick any of the girls and then the super powered vampire girl gets angry and kicks him. the end.

The conclusion of Death Note came to mind immediately. Without giving anything away... No, God dammit! NO!
Are you serious? The ending was the best part of the Near/Mellow Arc. Or are you just a massive kira fan?
Its a combination of a few things that irritated me. For one, I just plain didn't like Near and was too arrogant for me to identify with or consider a hero. Two, I had grown attached to Light throughout the anime as the protagonist (not his ideals, just the character) so the ending was slightly depressing in that regard. Three, I just found the ending to be anti-climatical and out of tone with the rest of the series. "Fanboyism" has nothing to do with it (I prefered L anyway), I just thought the ending was incredibly disappointing and poorly handled considering how marvelous the rest of the series was.

I liked him. He was a funny guy and I know it was essential for plot and character development, but it seems like the event and everything else after is a really good fanfic of a series where kamina doesn't die.

The last bits of Evangelion. I was enjoying the show until it decided that it suddenly wanted to get "deep".

All the animes I've watched have had slightly disappointing endings. Fullmetal Alchemist will always be my favourite anime, but the last few episodes turned to pure nonsense, and the ending just didn't feel satisfying to me.

Fillers, and when a anime is different from the manga yet tries to stay close to the manga. If a Anime is going to do a manga adaptation it should either be a faithful recreation OR it should take the setting and people and make it's own stories. Ranma 1/2 did this well, I read both the manga(Couldn't find the second half sadly) and watch the anime and both are really good and with how it's made if Ranma did do filler it wouldn't matter cause it had that sitcom feel where you can watch them and not notice.

That Both Guyver Series cut off just as things seemed to get thier shit together for the protagonists.

Seriously, Seeing Guyver-Giantic at the last episode of the recent series was a huge cock-tease.
