What is your greatest fear?

Death and heights.

And by death, I mean an obsessive fear of it, hell, most of my fantasies involve immortality and being able to give it to others. And heights, they make me feel shite scared, any drop high enough to kill or severely injure me I find scary.

Yea, definitely being buried alive. I think it's probably due to seeing an episode of Dark Shadows when I was younger, but I really can't fucking stand even the thought of it.

I'm afraid to get old and frail which may sound odd but true as I like to exercise and play sport and actually you know do shit my pop can't go hunting anymore because he has just got too old and shooting is the most enjoyable and calming hobby that I have and if that was taken away from me I don't know what I would do.

oddly enough, in high school I acquired the oddest aversion to images of dead animals. I do well now, but if seize up for a second or two if I catch sight of any sort of image (photographic, not rendered) of an animals innards or corpse.

Losing my hearing - I'm a vocalist, all-around music lover and aspiring radio announce. Going deaf would devastate me.
Getting struck by lightning - highly unlikely, but I grew up in one of the top ten states for lightning strikes, and I knew a kid who got struck twice.
Power outages/being alone in the dark - I'm night-blind, and the dark terrifies me for that reason. When the power goes out, I tend to reach for whoever is there so I won't be lost in the dark on my own. Losing my sight would do the same thing to me.

Eh, I guess the only real thing I can say I'd fear is failure in life and not amounting to anything. Although much of this comes to almost 2 years of cynicism and disheartening attitude with troubles finding a job and all. And of course if I can't find a decent job to kick off my career, it's difficult to do much else.

I personally don't count very primal fears such as death and being killed in some horrific way because that stuff is pretty much built into our psyche. Personal fears are the only ones that really count for me and I don't have many really.

Being forever alone and unloved. Haha. No. I'm afraid of everything, really. Recently I've been brooding a lot over the idea of losing one of my senses, which quite frankly terrifies me. I fear also the complete lack of meaning in existence. I'm afraid that everything I do is for nothing - that, to me, is worse than just dying now. I mean, I guess if I died I wouldn't be missing out on much. I'm afraid that this is the best it gets in life. That would be awful.
