I actually haven't heard anything of her's except that Fly Me To the Moon cover and "First Love" at least I think that was the name of it.

I like that Colors song though.

Looks like my iTunes will be having more Jpop on it soon...
If you do start looking up J-Pop, I also recommend most anything by Ayumi Hamasaki. Especially things like "<url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bXCuFRC1GvI>Evolution," "<url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jybpsr3e_x4>Naturally," and "Far Away," which I'd link if I could find something that's not a remix or someone doing karaoke.

...yeah, I guess I'm not helping matters any.

Also, I never realized how bizarre Ayuu's music videos are.

... Richard Cheese. That man, his tiger-striped tuxedo, and his band.

Tell me you don't want to be him.

I have a shameful love for covers in general, but particularly Mr. Cheese, and Me First and the Gimme Gimmes.

*cough*
So how about that weather today, huh?
[sub][sub]Well, they are...funny. You know, like Tenchi Muyo, Rosario+Vampire, and such.[/sub][/sub]

It rained this morning, but other than that, the weather's been just peachy.

Honestly listening to Korn while grinding. It makes the grind so much easier.

I'll look into that. It's not half bad.

And as far as recommendations go, I listen to a lot of Maaya Sakamoto. [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f-C9gjmhtxw]

She's probably one of my favorite Jpop singers.

I'll definitely look into her work. The Jpop singers I follow besides Utada and Hamasaki tend to be for anime-related reasons, especially Megumi Hayashibara (hardest-working woman in the industry).

And Ritsuko Okazaki, though I only started getting into her works in 2006...and got kinda disturbed when I learned she'd died two years earlier.

I tend to like the anime related Japanese singers like Aqua Timez, Maaya Sakamoto, and Maximum the Hormone, so I'll look into those you mentioned.

As a general guilty pleasure: Dane Cook and Freezepop. Most people here hate the former but dammit I find him funny, not the best but I still like him. As for the latter, it's synth pop and my friend gives me some crap for it.

As for my family, well there are quite a few, but lets say Delicious Trap and be done with it.
Freezepop is awesome, my favourite is Such Great Heights by The Postal Service.

hmm, this doesn't bring me "real" pleasure but I do, however, feel rather guilty whilst at it:

I'm not into yaoi or furry porn but I'm extremely fascinated by the fact that some people are (seriously, I come across very, ah, suggestive drawings and stuff done by 13-year-old girls almost on a daily basis - I didn't even know such things existed when I was 13 ._.) and so I sometimes like to do some, err, research. If my mon ever caught me browsing through those galleries I'll die before I get the chance to explain.

Something that does make me feel both pleasure and guilt, though: EATING RAW BACON.

music wise I guess Akira Yamaoka (she some the songs for the silent hill series) I like the silent hill ost's in general.

and I like alot of the stuff on www.ocremix.com

I like the steampunk "subculture"
I was involved with a goth poetry and event site... *stares off into space* oh god, i'm gonna get flamed now aren't I? though i did get to meet alot of artists (VNV Nation, Voltaire, Audra, Carfax abbey, Torsion, Tapping the Vein, etc.)

I own a moped (not a scooter!) and know how to work on small engines.

I plan on making a replica of a 1896 Riker electric car, as soon as i can get to the henry ford museum to get better pictures than the ones on the net. http://www.remarkablecars.com/ppads/showproduct.php/product/2959

I guess that's about it... at least going with the topic.

Tell that to my mom. Or half the girls who paid for my "services".(Which resulted in me getting fired)

I'm a black metal fan who listens to deathcore.

Though, that's not really much of a guilty pleasure, is it?
Sometimes i break down from listening to 1349 and emperor and put on some cradle of filth. That's my guilty pleasure...i guess.

well you accepted money... that's generally a no no, since it consituted solicitation (aka prostitution, even if it's yourself.) don't know of any club that doesn't frown upon that. as for your mom, well that's her issue not yours, your life, your choice.
