There are pros and cons for everything. Really I think it all comes down to consoles versus PC gaming.
-Everything has exclusive games so that doesn't really matter.
-Gaming is expensive. While consoles run for 2-300 dollars, a quality gaming PC would cost around 6-700. And that's if you know how to build one. If not then it'll cost you up to $1k
-Online communities? Well I've had better experiences with PC gaming. (And I prefer fabulous as opposed to ******.)
-Maybe it's just me but I find a controller much easier to use than a keyboard (for MOST games. Valve games seem to be handled better with my keyboard.)
-Games coming at 50-60 bucks a piece is a huge setback on money. PC's have the upper hand here because of direct downloadable games allowing lower prices (and no tax).
Surely there's more to the list but the main focus of this is:
CONSOLE: For those who don't game hardcore. They have a small collection of games they enjoy playing and can make last a while.
PC: Hardcore gaming. Anyone who wants a large collection of games and plays for a large fraction of their day. You can always plug a controller into the computer if you need to.
(Disclaimer: I'm a PC gamer and kick sand at console gamers.)
