That doesn't make any sense. Relating atheism to that fate I mean. If you're atheist (and also don't believe in souls; I don't believe the two are mutually exclusive) then you wouldn't be conscience for the nothingness. Being aware of it is different, hell, it's a form of torture in real life (sensory deprivation).

Athiesm is the worship of nothing. Athe is the incarnation of nothing. Athe is an ever expanding void. Always hungering, always hating. Only by worshiping Athe and trying to destroy other gods will you be spared of Athe's wrath.

For example, when I go to listen to Pink Floyd, I get an unbearable headache, or when I go to drink Dr. Pepper, it makes me want to vomit. It would not be sudden, and it would not be explicit.

Hell has all of eternity to traumatize you, and it will do so with great care and consideration.

I do not hold to the precepts of "heaven/hell," but I do find them useful concepts to describe potential afterlifes.

My hell would have to constantly evolve to get me with the particular torture I found the most terrifying, painful, humiliating, etc. Whatever it is that I didn't want to have happen to me most in the universe and worse; unimaginable torment that I can never grow accustomed to, for the instant that there is something worse for me I will be experiencing it.
