Hitman: Absolution and Arma II for DayZ.
I thought Hitman would be similar to Blood Money, just with better AI, tools, weapons, "accident" situations and so on. I was quite disenchanted about 85% in.
With Arma II, like many others, I bought it for DayZ. I got it, however, after the update that took away the starting pistol which made it quite hard for my friends and I to survive more than a few minutes. Now, we never play it, so that was a waste of $30.

Radeon X850XT, I bought one when they were the latest thing for a little over $1000. This card was freaking awesome, and the remorse only came later when HDR lighting became a thing and the X850XT didn't support it, like a classic muscle car but without the mod cons of the latest models.

ARMA II is better than Day Z could ever be. Play it.

I was cold and hungry on my way to work yesterday, and I bought a Chocolate Orange pie from McDonalds. It wasn't very tasty, and it was so rich it made me feel nauseous for the first hour of work. I should have spent my £1.19 more wisely.

Hmm, it was earlier this year, I purchased two DLC's for Mass Effect 2 and 3. They're justified because I enjoyed them, the remorse part comes from my hatred of the practice of DLC and my wish to not support it. I'm hoping to never have to buy another DLC again though. We'll see.

Guild Wars 2. I regret buying it, i was forcing myself to play it and i made it till lvl 65.
I didn't like battle system and skill system i didn't like levelling down system, rewards in dungeons are bad.
After GW2, i now can say for certain that holy trinity is the system for me.

I sort of liked GW2(stopped playing around level 50 though so you lasted longer than I did) and it made me realize just how much I like the holy trinity, everyone has a role and knows what to do, in GW2 I just felt like we were all spamming the shit out of our abilities in dungeons because there was nothing better to do.

I recently bought Uncharted: Drake's fortune from PSN. While I liked the characters and setting (Indiana Jones videogame edition), but shooting sections made me delete it from my hard drive. My remorse is soothed by the fact that I bought it really cheap.

Most of mine come down to food that I don't really need.

See, I'm a uni student. I exist in a magical financial situation in which I can afford to live comfortably, but the very slightest of extra expenditures can rob other luxuries from me.

So I'm in the supermarket. I spot a deal. Box of maltesers for a pound. Fair 'nuff, I buy it. Then closer to the end of the week, I feel the need to get a DVD or a book or a cheap game, only to find I'm exactly a pound short of what I need. I'm left feeling that burning hatred of myself that I feel when I have practically robbed myself of something.

I got Warhammer 40k Space Marine for 7 bucks. I still feel ripped off. It's not even Duke nukem bad, it's boring there is nothing fun about it and there is noting "too" bad about it. At least gears of War has some nice set peaces.

Assassin's Creed 3 because well, it's just horrifically bad.

I thought it'd be a nice treat for myself cause I was really looking forward to it, so now I'm a good amount of money outta pocket and stuck with this steaming pile of poop

I'm too careful with my purchases... Can I have non-buyers remorse? I wanted to pick up a LEGO set the other day because it had some good parts in it. It was the last one on the shelf and had been for a long time, and had a hole in the box and was priced to clear. I show up and, naturally, it's gone. I reckon it'd been there for something like two years and only when I want it does it disappear.

Last week I made the mistake of buying the Star Wars X-Wing Fighter Lego set. It was £40 well spent and I spent a good few hours reliving my childhood, but... I need more now... I NEED MORE!!!!!!

Last game - Transformers Fall of Cybertron. Not because it was bad, but because my friend had it and I may as well have just borrowed it considering it wasn't a game I'd choose to play again.

Before that Mass Effect 3 Limited Edition. Ignoring the game itself, I don't know why I got the LE when I know that I never really pay attention to the stuff I get with them anyway.

Diablo 3

if it was $20 MAYBE, it would have been worth what i got out of it, as it stands, i want my $60 back :/
Agreed. This was easily my worst purchase within the past year, and definitely my most regretted game purchase I've ever made.

I was dubious when I heard about the character classes, particularly the "Witch Doctor" and "Monk". After seeing beta footage of all of the classes, I was even more reluctant. But, having friends encouraging a collective purchase and memories of long nights with Diablo II, I shook off any hesitation and bought it.

I tried to give the game a chance: I played every class up to level 30 or so, I tried out the (limited) number and combinations of different skills on all of my characters, but it was all for naught. The game was just no where near quality.

The night of the launch sealed the deal: it was a terrible waste of money. Not only was the story comparatively unimaginative, but it was very short. The set pieces were repeated like a poor-man's version of D2. The graphics were essentially a re-skinning of Warcraft III's engine with some physics thrown in. And it wasn't even available to play for days.

Now, I'm certainly not a graphics snob - I don't really care how things look unless they interfere with gameplay and, honestly, if that part and the game itself are both solid, I don't pay much attention to the graphic quality. I can also understand a company having launch issues with a game that requires network support, but not if that company is Blizzard.

That's what makes these issues so much worse - Blizzard made the game. A company with enough resources, money and standing to really create a top-notch masterpiece. A company that actually has the capability of one-upping the previous release in the series and, instead, it's a blatant money grab. It's obvious that they put in the least amount of work on ALL aspects of the game (from characters and story to environments, graphics and gameplay) in order to maximize profits from sales. I see Blizzard as being the George Lucas of game companies. It's sad to see a company that was once innovative, as well as successful, become one of the rest. The partnership with Activision probably should've tipped everyone off, and it definitely did for me. Just goes to show, don't follow your friends over the bridge.

I can't even recommend the game for $20. That's two packs of smokes and a water, or half a tank of gas, or food for a week-ish, or a subscription to a porn site, or a nice pair of pants. There are games that are free-to-play that someone would receive more enjoyment from. Ditch it.

Remorse is for the weak and stupid.

I would have to say the closest I got to feeling regret was Ninja Gaiden 3.

I'd have to say Skyrim.

NOW WAIT HEAR ME OUT.

I think the game is very entertaining. I do want to finish the big story about the dragons and what not sooner or later, but the thing is I also have so many other games that I want to play and I'm also in college as well. I feel like I don't play it enough to justify my purchase. Perhaps during the summer I will pick it up again.

Bought a 16GB MicroSD card to replace my 2GB in my phone. Well, the SDHC format drops my phone's idle battery life from 3 days to about 3/4 days.

I dunno.
Probably The Witcher 2. Got it in the Steam Sales but it's just... dull. And overly "uuugh look at me be dark".
Plus the 360 controller works like shit on the PC version.
