I bought a digital short comics which I end up feeling it wasn't worth it at the end (waste of money). Ok yes that doesn't seen like a big deal but I am quite tight with my money eventhough I got a job now.

I felt I was justify because-

It was only £1.90 which is cheap and I use the website coupon to knock it off 20% further.

Since I got a job, these days I can afford it.

Speaking of my job, I going to be working most of Christmas meaning I will get alot of money especially when there isn't really anything I want to buy this Christmas.

People buy comic all the time, from buying and download it to view it on their smartphone to forking out alot for a special edition comic. How am I any different from them?

Buying Max Payne 3 garnered some remorse. I had a budget of twenty bucks and I choose that one because I loved the first game so much. What followed was 13 rage inducing hours as I yelled at my computer screen. No quick save feature, ridiculous difficulity, terribile plot, and a godawful characterization of the titular characer. I finished the game knowing I am would never play it again. I know $20 bucks was a lot, but it was during very broad Steam sale. There was a lot other great games I could of picked up instead.
I actually kinda loved Max Payne 3's difficulty curve, but I'll admit the characterization is completely zonked out. Max potentially heals at the end of Max Payne 2, with the best possible ending making it clear that while he hasn't completely emerged, he's seeing the light.

"I had a dream about my wife," he said. "She was dead, but it was alright."

And what do you find waiting for you in the third opus? A guy who's fallen on harder times than in the previous game. What happened to his finding inner peace? Did he fuck it all to Hell and decided he had too much fun wallowing in his own sorrow? I get that he's a Film Noir character and that Noir types are more or less cursed with suck, but Rockstar could've given him a few months to a few years of recovery, to then find another way to pull the rug from underneath his feet.

As is, it's like "Fuck personal progress, self-destruction and alcoholism for the win!"

I bought a pair of amethyst earrings for my girlfriend online. The gems in the picture were a really deep purple, but when it arrived, the gems were so washed out that they were almost clear. Thankfully I was able to return them for a full refund and went to a proper brick-and-mortar store to make sure the gemstones were the right color. I'm giving them to her for Christmas.

Alcohol... I'm spending far too much on it at the moment. Recently bought myself a discounted Gentleman Jack, on top of my usual shopping. I do have buyers remorse, since I don't really 'need' alcohol, but I justify it by saying it was discounted, I made a saving and it's tasty.

Killzone 2 two years back.

Since then I've always thoroughly researched games I'm interested in and watch several gameplay videos before considering.

That sucks Sky.

OT:Bought the 2004 Transformers game about a month ago and it still hasn't arrived. The person went through the US Postal Service instead of reliable ones like UPS or Fed Ex. I've called the post office's HQ and it apparently is lost somewhere inside the sorting facility where I assume they have hidden the Ark. I'm out $18 bucks and a game that I was supposed to LP after I finished Crash Bandicoot Warped.

Sonic Adventure 2 off the PS Store. "Oh, why would you be remorseful about that?" some of you may be thinking. "Sonic Adventure 2 is one of the best Sonic games!" Well you're probably right about that, but the thing is, I don't like Sonic the Hedgehog games after a short while of playing them. Even the old ones that are supposedly pure Sonic experiences. I just don't enjoy the gameplay they offer; I like to take my time and explore. Not only that, but I've never encountered a 3D Sonic game that isn't basically broken and racing through a level almost flawlessly only to fall through the ground at some random point and die drives me nuts. I already own the original Sonic Adventure anyway and didn't much care for it. But I never learn. They say insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Well, colour me insane, because I keep buying fucking Sonic games.

The most twisted part about the whole thing is that I've been watching Game Grumps play Sonic '06. And yet I thought to myself, "Boy, I miss Sonic." There must be something deeply wrong with me.

I went into a Hot Topic yesterday (I'd never been to one or even seen one before, so I was a little excited) and lost almost $70 on shirts. Now I don't want to go anywhere near the damn place. Money PTSD.

A book called "Necropolis" by Santiago Gamboa. Paid almost $20 for most obtuse, unfunny, uncreative, tedious, unmotivated, pretentious waster of a clean paper with worst characters I saw in a good while.
