Actually, now that I mention RDR, I felt the same way with GTA IV... and LA Noire is heading in that direction too. I really hope GTA V can give me faith back in Rockstar whenever it comes out.

Just out of curiosity, how far did you get into the game? Or was it just the combo of the general lack of anything to do in the city and the arbitrary restrictions the game puts on you for the sake of continuity?ineedscissors said:

I think a lot of people here would understand why people liked the games they apparently don't like by giving them a good play for a day. There's so many games that you just have to get past the first few hours or so and then you start to get into it or it's that a lot of games have pretty dull beginnings to help newbies.
For me it's any other WoW esq MMOs that aren't WoW. Seriously, do something different Mr MMO companies, you will never beat it in it's smoothness and addictiveness if you try to make something like it.
6 Reasons real life is worse than WoW:
No respawning after death
No healing wounds by eating
You can't fight people to 1 health and have an outside force tell you whos won before you kill each other
No teleporting in real life
Mounts have less carbon emissions than cars
There's a lot less suffering on WoW than IRL
I'm just being silly here, but I'm just saying it's pretty damn easy to find 6 bad points about anything compared to anything else, this doesn't mean it has infinitely more good points than that other thing. (and I'm not saying WoW is better than real life, but it's just a damn game and it's silly to compare it to it)

I... I think I just had a Grammurism... or a Grammar Migraine... or something to that affect.
OT: COD. I played it for a while, the online play was ok... until kids convinced their parents to buy it for them. Then multiplayer was ruined for me.
Then I beat COD on (insert highest difficulty setting here, I forget), so singleplayer now had no hold over me. Goodbye COD. Hello more fantasy RPGs.
