What is your life's purpose?

Or in a more general term, why do you think we/you exist?
Though a simple question, the complications and variations of ideas and beliefs are incredible and inspiring. The weirdest of which i have heard so far is that we are all just projected split personalities of the same giant beetle hidden within the earth,

All opinions, religions and forms of, are equally welcome for answers. There is a difference between the questions, why are we here...and why are you here? Both of which i believe are just as important.

I ain't religious, I have faith in well something that can only be described as my own warped idea of what the higher power is. However, after much persuasion, my friend did an Angel card reading on me last night. ad it basically told me to stop worrying about the answers to such questions as to "why am I here and what is my lifes purpose" So I have decided to try and norry about such overwhelming questions.

Though for the sake of it... It could be that we are just God's little Ant farm or science experiment that one day started out as a small project then one day went horribly wrong.


Also maybe not the right topic for this but an interesting thought is, what if what we all believe and pray to as God is actually quite the opposite. The evil, and millions of people pray to that eveil every day believing its Good Auld God.

Hah, but seriously there is no meaning beyond that which we choose and life quests are kind of self-administered, psychological placebo. There ain't much to life beyond fucking, fighting and eating pork.

I always thought that it might be more likely we are just an 'ant farm' for an alien species. I mean...i can just imagine humans in the distant future, testing out ideas of evolution on their own little special science planet. Just a thought, not a belief

I exist primarily to enjoy myself and let people I know enjoy themselves as well.

Humans as a whole? Probably the same thing. Not everyone in the world will be content with the status quo, so they get angry and fight to change it until they are happy with it. Not everyone likes or approves of the same things so fighting is, inevitably, in our nature. The only differences are what we fight over.

None. Humans aren't tools, we don't have a specific task or function we were meant to do. As for what I intend to do with mine- live a full and happy life. If I can look back as an old man and say I wouldn't change a thing, that'll be enough.

I don't really believe we've all come to life because of some higher purpose. We're all just basically a one in a million bio accident with no purpose then actually just excisting.

Now I don't mean to be dark and gloomy with that. Basically I would say, we excists for what we choose to excist for. If you want to devote your life to travels and seeing the world, that's your life's purpose. Someone else might be devoted to gaming, music, cars, finding that special someone and whatever else.

Mine would probably be to just enjoy myself as much as I can and sharing that hapiness with those close to me.

OT: My life goal is to find a life goal... Eh, clichéd. I don't really have one. I hope to finish my education, get into a line of biology, either working in a lab or possibly become a teacher. Teacher is the most likely path and I like the idea of it. However if I get the chance to work in research I will take it and see what happens.

My purpose is to prove the Marquee de Sade correct in his belief that God despises virtue(which lends some weight to the notion that god is evil), by attempting to live virtuously so that my life will be horrible and full of suffering. And then as further evidence I will spend eternity in hell suffering into oblivion for my attempts at virtue.
