The war has come to an end, there's only one last thing for me to do. Stop the final V2 missle from exploding and wiping the two waring countries off the map. The only thing that stands in my way is a one on one fight with the one man who called me "buddy".

or (I can't decide)

I've traveled far through an empty and desolate land; I've toppled giants in my quest to save the woman I care for most. As I reach the final steps of my journey the one companion who has stuck by my side through it all sacrifices their life for my own. As I climb the narrow cliffs and ledges with a memory of them in my heart the sky darkens and rain and lightning fill the world around me. As I walk up the last slope I come upon my final foe, towering above me in the storm. I make my way across the rain slick battlefield, across treacherous cliff faces and underground passages to arrive at the feat of the beast. I scale it's body and at the height of the storm and as lightning crashes overhead I drive my sword into the head of the beast, bringing my journey to an end.

Running with my friends to chase a killer into his own demented corner of the world and bringing him to justice -- only to realize that he was just a pawn for a demigod intent on transforming people down to their basest desires.

... Then banding together with my friends to defy a god and allow the truth to stand free.

Damn do I love that game.

Skinny, more than half naked chick with 8 swords on her back breaks out of a corner by suddenly trapping her opponent in place with swords and dramatically stabbing him to death. With more swords. Hey he was pressing buttons for corner pressure. She don't stand for that shit mang.

Obviously a wake up Wisdom of the Divines from Mu-12 in BlazBlue. Come on, keep up.

Walking into a dingy room in some half dilapidated apartment complex. I see a tablet on a table with a video waiting to be played. The voice from the video tells me that, in order to save my son, I have to cut off the end section of a finger so the sick bastard that came up with this "test" can watch. I only have five minutes to do this, so I race around around looking for anything to use. In the end, I go for a fire axe. Before I do anything, I heat up metal rod so I can cauterize the wound. Taking three deep breathes, I raise the axe, close my eyes, and chop....

Holy crap did this scene make me shudder.
Saw II?
Nope. That's Heavy Rain. That one scene made the Sixaxis worth it.

Setting sail with a forgiven enemy into the new world, rejecting the choice that would have lead to the apocalypse brought about through hate and racism repeating itself all over again.

[small]The first two words are also a hint in themselves[/small]

"Up, Down, Left, Right, then press A+Start button together".

First ever cheat code I learned and the only one I can remember.

After fist-fighting an old man and deciding to spare his life, I opened a hidden door which lead me into a strange room where a holographic woman told me about her lost civilisation.

Bloody hell, that was a weird ending.

Wandering the streets of Daggerfall after selling my swag from raiding an orc infested dungeon. I lost track of the time and noticed the sun had set and the moon was high. I round a corner to see two red floating sparks and suddenly hear in a low and groaning yet disturbingly high in volume voice "VUH-HEEEEEEEEN-GGEEAANNNNNCE!" (Vengeance!).

I am only 11 years old.
I shit myself in fear.

Two man team with my best friend during some of the craziest world pvp we've ever seen. He was ranged dps with a bow, I was healer. We went from the middle zone of the humans, to our zone, then fought all the way to their city.
The enemy was running around with atleast 5 full raids, thats a zerg of more than a hundred people, and we just ran around picking off stragglers, or flanking at fights already in progress at objectives.

The best of all of this was when their main zerg ran passed us and my friend went all kamikaze and just started shooting someone in that zerg, dismounting him... That target, also a bow user, started fighting back, and 2 more of the enemy also broke off from the main group to help. They didn't know I was there though, and we ended up owning all 3 of them heh.

Fighting my rival after taking on the Elite Four. We were both down to one pokemon - mine was a Zapados barely clinging to life. Hearing that fearful low-hp beeping, I used one of my last thunderbolts - a move that often missed - and I won the battle.

I think I'll always remember that gaming moment.

A friend and I, with suitably masochistic tendencies, were playing a notoriously hard game on its notoriously hardest mode. We traded controllers at checkpoints, or reloads - whichever came first. We were doing okay until we got to the first boss. We couldn't make a dent for ten or eleven attempts, then I managed to get him down to half health and all that did was seem to tick him off. When it was my turn again, I somehow managed to defeat the boss without taking a single hit, or even allowing him to attack. My friend and I both had a realization at the same time :Damn! We should have recorded that.

Or, that time I was working against a terrorist group within a certain city and decided to try using the sewer as an alternate entrance to their territory. A knew something was up when I spotted trip lasers, and computer controlled turrets, but pressed on anyway. Then came barrels of chemicals and a secret lab. It was the first game that anticipated my ADHD and explorer tendencies and actually PUT stuff in all the nooks and crannies I'd force my character to crawl into. If not my outright favorite game of all time, pretty damn close.

After years of toiling, I was finally able to work my way up to avenge my family and home and throw a dude off a rock.

That is...beating that Lion King Genesis game after about 10 years of it ruling my childhood life.

Crashing the shotgun automatic rifle wedding of the girl I love to a nihilistic blue-haired prick with an extremely well-armed flying ship, and taking on the entire army defending the ceremony once my comrades and I hit the ground.
Final Fantasy X.

Mine is not necessarily about the game: I finally beat Dracula when I was about 8, after playing the game with my grandpa for a few months, and then we and my Grandma went to enjoy an awesome April sunset on the beach. My grandpa is an awesome grandpa gamer! ^_^
Castlevania 3. No, 2. Definitely 2.

This boss kept butchering me with its counterattacks. I didn't understand a word of English, and so kept attacking when its tail was up. One day (I think this was my seventh attempt), my friend and her mother came to visit, and with their moral support I finally managed to beat it.

My joy lasted up until my mother came in, yelling that there's no time to play games when we have guests over. She pulled the plug on me before I could save the game.
Final Fantasy 7. Because I just played through it again recently.

Fuck you too, Barrett.

And now I stop ruining the fun because a depressingly large number of these are Mass Effect.
Hahaha Nice guesses. Mine was Super Castlevania 4, which for me, is still the best I've ever played (yes, better than the first, Symphony of the Night, Aria of Sorrow, Order of Eclesia, etc). I've seen a video from egoraptor which made me rethink about if the game is really that good for me, but, even though the whip is OP and the weapons lost a lot of their value, I still love that game just because of the times I played it with my grandpa. He still asks me to finish it in front of him when I visit him, justto see me play and remember the times we played together, and to hear the awesome music... :)

Oh. My. God. Is that Ace Combat Zero? If so, great friggin game.

They say she's great at explosives, the best actually. An old soldier says he'd trust her with his life. You walk into a cave, and you see a man tied to a chair, and the girl singing "Pop goes the baaandiit..."

Such a crazy little Chick.
