I work in a bakery/fast food place(?) called Greggs in the UK. It's not bad, it could be a lot worse. I know some people have seriously soul crushing jobs so I'm quite lucky.
I'm between two shops at the minute, and one of them is the worst I've worked in regards to customers being rude, impatient, impolite and stupid. There is loads of foreigners where I live, they come to England and expect you to speak their language and give you a filthy look when you can't understand them.
There seems to be loads of them at the horrible shop I work at... The other shop is a lot better. Not perfect, but the customers are generally polite and the people I work with are great.

The only thing that really gets me is when people don't use their manners. I've started shouting "You're welcome!" to them so they get the point.

I work at a place called the Food Bank. I do various stuff there including sweeping the floors, sorting out stuff, filling the shelves with food, and helping people put their groceries in their car. It's a volunteer job sure, but something like will definitely help me down the road.

I'm also in college right now trying to get some of my general education out of the way.

Director at a CBS affiliated station in Tallahassee.

Its fun, I get to push a lot of buttons and control what thousands of people see. But getting up at 3am every day sucks hardcore.

Generally office dogsbody by day at a tap company... super exciting!
But by night I'm a chef at a nice village pub, which is actually pretty awesome as I love cooking and the people I work with are all kinda awesome.

I used to be a customer service lackey at a catalog company, but I got fired after talking to someone who forgot the golden rule (they didn't like me treating them as they were treating me, the dick).

I just signed up for the National Guard, I be gonna be an MP.

Work part-time for Tesco. I push trolleys....woo. I literally work all weekend and my pay is alright, or at least I think so, it's my first job so I don't really know. But yeah, I fucking hate it.

OP: Pizza delivery guy sounds like a bitchin' job. Seems like something where you'd get a lot of freedom. At least more than in my piece o' shit job anyway.

Have been a forklift driver for 5 years. I have one week left of my notice and then I become a HGV Driver instead *dons plaid shirt and truckers cap*. Hours are long and unsocial, pay isn't fantastic but I've seen more of the country in the couple of weekend runs I have done than I have in the other 24 years I've been alive.

I'll miss some aspects of working with other people instead of essentially being alone for 12 hours a day, but I could work in a warehouse/shop/office my entire life and I'd probably never leave my hometown. In this job, after a couple of years experience in the UK I can try and get into European work. Then, when I'm ready, make the move to Canada where I will then hopefully get to see alot of North America, meet a nice Canadian woman, settle down and enjoy life. At least that's the theory.

I work in housekeeping and, aside from one really bitchy colleague, it's actually not bad. Sure, the pay is lousy, but my boss is really cool. I can show up late and she doesn't care plus I get stuff people leave behind. In fact, almost all of the alcohol I drink comes from work. Once got a bottle (for some reason they didn't even bother opening it) of 1979 Chianti. Best damn thing I ever drank. Probably worth more than a weeks wages too.
