I work in the constituency office of a British Member of Parliament. I don't do anything particularly important, just casework for constituents. At least I'm not an intern anymore though!

Currently a biochemistry undergraduate, and about to take an industrial placement where I'll be a software tester for pharmaceutical programs. Hopefully I can get into the QA side of things & move into testing products that are completely unrelated to science, as it doesn't really interest me anymore.

I am a Student/volunteer. After I moved back to the UK I wanted to get a job, but knowing how difficult it is to get even the most basic jobs without connections to people in the workplace, as well as my not having any real work experience scared the crap out of me. So I went and became a volunteer for a charity coffee shop. With my new work experience I'm going to try and get a paying job, because frankly, I don't want to edit this post to claiming benefits/starving artist.

Unfortunately I am having to state claiming benefits/starving artist, but I am also trying to start my own Hip Hop Promotions company with my friend, got our first show in 8 weeks, just trying to organise everything. Should have some good acts though, hopefully these guys are playing:

Head of IT for a credit union. It's massively frustrating at times but pays fairly well. I'm just wondering how much more frustration I can put up with.

Wasn't really sure whether this one was done, but if it was, it may not be relevant to now as you may have different jobs etc.

I just got an apprenticeship for a patisserie chef, as well as being a university student, and was just wondering, what is your profession and how did you decide that is what you wanted to do?
I'm currently a student, studying Games Development. Part time wise, unemployed (for now).

Currently I'm a full-time student, studying Japanese and Linguistics. Don't know if I'll get a job in the near future, maybe go to a summer camp or something like that

Full time student at a second rate community college and part-time child observer. I work at the YMCA in the daycare, where my day consists of simply looking at children and making sure they aren't dead, dying, or about to get into a situation where that becomes possible. It's similar to certain particles that behave differently when observed, except when you don't observe children, they bash their heads in with building blocks.

I'm an audio engineer, and I do live sound for a church and some theatre work around my area when I get the time. I'm doing sound design for a project right now, and I dabble in some recording when someone needs me for that.

Just looking for a job outside my state since there's nothing here. Maybe New York or something, but then again I haven't really looked that hard since I've been busy with projects.

Sounds like your job is to be a pedophile.

Been a chef for around 10 years. Am currently studying finance.
How do you like that? And what type of restaurant do you work in?

OT: I'm a highschool student and a worker in my dads manufacturing shop on weekends. Waking up at 6am on Saturday sucks, but it makes a bit of money.

Shipyard security. I'm standing around making myself look busy at a place that smells like fish guts and garbage for the next few years until I get my degree in criminal justice so I can be a police officer. We do have an air-conditioned break room with a PS3, so I'm not gonna complain.

Sometimes I feel like a supervillain henchmen there. The company that owns the shipyard is this really shifty mineral exporter, and we have to wear strange uniforms that don't look anything like typical security uniforms. I hope I don't end up having my neck snapped by some James Bond type character.

I'm a field service engineer that works on radiation therapy equipment. That's my way of saying I help cure cancer. My consumption of pizza also makes that pretty much a second job.
