What drives me most to learn more and more about programming and graphics (and later other arts related to games) aren't really games but ability to create living worlds. Sure there is probably no other applications than games but mainly I want to create complex living worlds with stories of their own. Dwarf Fortress was a huge inspiration to me.

Music... while I mostly play guitar, I'm writing stuff nearly everyday, or at least working on it... don;t really have anything recorded though... mostly because it'd be kind of pointless...<.<

Flying.

I get a strong pleasant feeling whenever I think of how amazing it would feel to drift in the sky, above the clouds, looking down and just taking in the sight. Or flying at a low altitude and seeing everything pass by so fast.

And the best feeling of all is engaging another pilot and trying to out-manuever him while he tries to do the same to you; the apex of which is successfully getting into a perfect position for a deflection shot or a missile shot. It's pure bliss for me.

I highly doubt I'll ever be able to join an Air Force --but goddamn I will try my damndest-- so for now I content myself with combat flying sims.

Pole dance/pole art.
I'm very glad it brought you out of your depression, but lol. Not the first thing you associate with pole dancing

It's also martial arts for me.

I do mma and boxing, and have done for a while. It's amazing what sport every day does to your body and your mind. I feel incredible, especially compared with how I used to feel (depressed/angry/bitter all the time).

Music! I've been playing drums for 14-15 years now, and while I've never actually gotten anywhere beyond stand-ins here and there, I think I'd hate myself if I ever stopped.

I also dabble in piano and guitar, but I'm not very good at either. One can dream, right?

Arguing with people on the internet!

Besides that, I also quite enjoy martial arts (I do a fun combination of WMA/HEMA and at the moment Japanese jujutsu).

As far as things that are likely to earn me money, I'm currently studying physics and maths.

Can I put that in pink letters. I'll have a light pink thank you. Just like my 3DS XL.
There is no more simple or potent of joy in life.
That better? :p

I do this too... but down the pub! The weird thing was, it took me a little while, whilst reading your post, that you were actually talking about the feathered variety!
You know you're British when...

OT: I have a passion both for writing, and impersonation. I'm reasonably good at both.

Boobies.

Music, definitely. I'm always finding new things to listen to and learn to play, and I'm usually trying to write my own (albeit not that great) music.

Don't make a it could apply, make it a will apply. If it's something you want to do, do it. You will learn so much, whether or not you think you are ready for competitions.

Drums.
I'm not great at it, but I enjoy it almost obsessively and can't stop myself from patting on my legs rhythmicly or tapping on anything near me so it must be my thing.
I drive my friends insane doing that. I think it's a rhythm section thing though, seeing as I play bass rather than drums. But yeah. I once woke my flatmates up 'cos I had a sudden urge to beat out the weird little 5/8 7/8 pattern from schism on my desk...

I guess you could say my passion is bass, but guitar is an alright substitute if I can't get my bass fix. I want to learn some more instruments too, but I don't really have the time.

Pole dance/pole art.

I think about it every single day, study the world champions in every aspect, I yap about it constantly. Every time I hear a song I think "Would this be cool to choreograph?"

I've been at this for seven months now and I'm advancing quickly. I can do things now that I never in a million years imagined I would, and I've only scratched the surface. I'm more aware of my body and both its strengths and limitations than ever before, and I am seriously making national competitions am ambition. Maybe in two years or so, I could apply.

It also basically stomped out my massive depression of 2011-2012.
That is so cool. It's wonderful when a newfound passion, especially one that relies on one's own skill and strength, helps one feel good and happy about oneself.

Plus I'm super jelly of you; pole dancers are among the strongest and most graceful performers I've seen! (Why oh why am I so lazy/easily damaged/good at excuses?)

OT: I don't know if I have one. As a teenager I used to have anime/manga and writing, but nowadays? I LOVE things - like games and books - but I don't think I'm all that passionate about them. I don'y eat, drink, breathe them. Now I'm sad =(

I'm not 100% sure, but I really love Clay shooting, with shotguns.

Its a great sport, but it can be expensive - almost prohibitively so in the UK at least. There's a lot of different disciplines and types of targets to shoot, so there is plenty of variety. Its so satisfying when you do well, and every time I go I just want to shoot more.

I started when I was about 16, and have been doing it on and off at home and in Uni for the last 5 years. I'd love to get into it properly and maybe even get into some local competitions if I'm good enough. I got my own gun a few years ago, but until I get a job I wont have the disposable income to dedicate as much time as I want to it.

For instance my gun was £600, most used for competitions can span from £1500 - £10,000 or more. The ammo is relatively cheap, working out at about £4 -£6 per 25 cartridges, but you want to be shooting 100 or so every time you practice. And a lot of practice is needed.

Basically, I wanna be this guy :p

You know that's funny.
My passion is listening to drinking unicorns making music.
Right after drinking musical unicorns.

In all honesty:
My big passion is music, even more so than videogames. In fact, way more than videogames.
Be it listening to music, discussing music or even writing my own stuff.
I really love music.

I'm a hoarder! I love hoarding things. (video games, nail clippers, rubber bands, fingernails, comic books, DVDs, earrings...)
I tend to move from things to things, currently I'm into collecting figurines or statues of fictional characters.
