What is your plan for the next gen?

Same as this generation. Playstation will be my get it regardless purchase, then I'll invest in the others once they have 5 games that I want to play.

Not getting a Gaming PC because I use a computer for my freelance writing business. Once I start using it for gaming, then I can never make the distinction in my head again. It is a line in the sand that I can never cross.

If I purchase a gaming PC, it will be only to make video reviews in HD.

Never got anyhting like that on the 360

Maybe slight hitches when the action gets REALLY crazy, but nothing major.

I wonder if they made a mod to fix the broken AI?

I meant more along the lines of TGWTC crowd, making fun of old movies. Some of the more detailed video programs, like Vegas, requires 6- 8 gigs of ram to function properly.

No hard drive? No buy.
Considering the low specced graphics that seems to be going into the next gen consoles, I expect noise and power consumption to be way down as well or; no buy.
Sane controller scheme ie no flailing with arms and legs at the Telly (unless I want to) or, no buy.

I'm going to stick with PC. I don't own ANY of the current generation of consoles, and I don't feel like I'm missing a thing. If I want to play a console exclusive I can always play at friends - OH WAIT THAT'S EVIL! I don't pay developers to play games when I hang out with friends, so I should be arrested or shot or something...right?

If sony and microsoft have a war against used games, and the console is really expensive, and it doesn't work, and there are no good games out. I'll probably just by the cheapest good gaming PC and pray that it works.

YYea, if the next generation is like this one, I think I'll just build a pc especially for my tv. Right now I just have a really robust laptop I jack into it.

Unfortunately it looks like the future consoles will take even more of the inconveniences of pc gaming and probably still not bring over any of the benefits. And as more and more console titles lack splitscreen, I really don't see any point anymore. Actually, the only game I'm really looking forward to right now is supposed to have splitscreen on the console and the pc. The consoles in general seem to be overspecializing themselves right out of existence.

Completely switch to pc, I do most of gaming on pc anyway now and after 6 years I'm sick of playstation firmware updates. So I guess I'm joining the master race, I wonder if there is any kind of initiation I need to take
