What is your plan in case of a zombie apocalypse.

Admit it, we have all thought of this at some point. What is your plan/survival tactic in case of a zombie apocalypse?

I would like to think I'd act according to the "Zombie Survival Guide", or at least follow the proper emergency situations for other virus outbreaks.

Realistically, I'd probably run screaming for my life and end up a zombie, or lock myself inside a mall like they do in the movies.

I'm in the U.S. so i'd be fine. Let's face it, in a standard zombie scenario it would be pretty easy to survive here. Grab some guns and drive to a remote place in the mountains. Wait.

If i manage to survive long enough to reach the apocalypse (e.g surviving the looters/zombies/other the runs rampart during the initial spread of the infection)

Then i plan on camping out on the local supermarkets roof until the zombies all die of starvation.

Because no matter how much of a zombie-slaying badass i think i am, doing anything else will undoubtedly get me killed.

I guess optimistically, I'd board up the house and live off of canned beans and botulism.

Try to make an armour that a Zombie cannot bite/ scratch through while light enough to keep my mobility and not sweating too much from wearing it.

I would be eaten. I'm the least athletic person in the history of the world and I have very little that could be used as an effective weapon.

If I wasn't eliminated immediately, I'd probably go over to my sister's house. She and my brother-in law have some guns and a metric crapton of food and other supplies (yay extreme couponing ), so I think I'd be good over there for a little while.

I had a plan but massively overhauled it after reading the Zombie Survival Guide. First I plan to lay low letting the initial wave of panic and craziness pass, setting up in my first floor flat and making little to no impact against the zombies, merely defending myself and my close friends and family as required. Once it has calmed down enough and the zombies leave town in enough number my second stage is to secure the Castle in the center of Town, turning it into a habitable fortress. (Sowing crops, building shelter... yada yada) Then it's a case of slowly securing the city, recruiting people to our cause and maintain civilisation. Then secure the region so on and so forth until the country is secured by then someone sensible and with more power will be in charge so it's a case of being a brick in the wall.
