Nothing is true. It is only permitted.
My hovercraft is full of eels.
You keep your morals and political correctness, I keep my gun.
You only know how much you love someone by what you are willing to sacrifice.

"Mr. Peanut goddammit!"
I thought this up at a fancy party where i had a top hat, cane, and a monocle.I also apparently reeked of peanuts.
Also "Some men open their own doors, others have doors opened for them. Real men kick the door open and toss a grenade in".

"On a scale of one to (adverb/adjective) it/that/they are/is/were pretty (same adverb/adjective)".

For example... "Wow, on a scale of one to disturbing....that was pretty disturbing."
"Damn, on a scale of one to fucked up....that was pretty fucked up."
I use one quite similar to that. For example, if talking about something pretty bad, "On a scale from one to the Holocaust, how was it?" The common answer from my friends is, "The Ukrainian genocide".

Did you get that from Doctor Who?

Anyway, mine is "fair enough" seeing as nothing is really fair, so fair enough has to cut it. Although recently, my catchphrase has been "life sucks" (my dog died on Saturday)

Not so much a saying I use as a maxim I live by.

"Rather be forgotten than remembered for giving in."

OT: Everything is Chronological

lemme explain

Say you screwed up, or feel ill, or you're on a trek and you just DON'T want to carry on walking, for example. Always bear in mind that, a few days or a week down the line, this will be a memeory and whatever got you down has passed. Or, you're dead, in which case you CAN'T feel down.
