Although no one is going to read through 8 pages of scars, and almost all of my scars are similar to the OP or other people who've posted I feel like contributing.

I have about 5 scars on my chin where I can't grow any facial hair now from face planting while riding my bike on a gravel road.

I have small scars here and there on the backs of my hands, my elbows and knees but most of them have healed.

I've never had surgery so far, which is pretty positive considering how many injuries I've had.

I also have a scar on my left eyebrow from falling over and smashing my head on a gutter (no I wasn't drunk, I slipped on mud) and there are scars from where I pulled out the stitches.

I also have a few pretty much healed scars on the back of my head, my sister was fond of hitting me in the back and the back of my head when I wasn't looking when she was small.

She once fractured my skull. :(

Hm, I actually have quite a few of these.

One on the inside of my arm, just above the elbow from having a port put in/removed when I was sick. A pretty impressive one on the side of my neck and small one on my lower back from biopsies. That takes care of the medical ones that are less interesting than the ones you get the old fashioned way.

I have a few on my arm on the side of one of my fingers that have mostly faded from my skater days. Managed to break my arm in a few places once and got a pretty thorough case of road rash at the same time.

There is a small black circle on the front of my waist that is a scar and used to extend across most of my waist. I was doing an 8 hour drive between my house and a relatives in this crappy car and the battery failed on me in the middle of the trip. When I pulled it out to put in the replacement the side had cracked some and it spilled the battery acid all over me. Its not so strong that it just sears you or something, but I was only able to do so good of job washing up in a gas station bathroom. Then when my car broke down -again-, badly this time, I had to wait another 4 hours to catch a bus to make it the rest of the way. By the time I got there I took a shower right away because my skin was feeling all weird and getting kind of pink. The next day the clothes I was wearing literally fell apart when they were picked up and my skin had discolored where the waistband of my pants kept the cloth pressed tight.

I've got a small one on my right bicep near my shoulder. I had a roommate who I also worked full time with at the point in life where we were starving students and couldn't afford to do anything but sit at the apartment at irritate each other. I finally hit the point of making him crack while we were working. Each of us was doing setup work to get a food place ready for the day and I was just non-stop making fun of him through a small window that was meant to let us pass things back and forth to each other. I was being pretty merciless and I finally just heard this 'Arrgh!' and apparently he just grabbed the nearest thing and threw it through the window(not at me), hoping it would shut me up. He threw a paring knife, which by some miracle instead of just hitting the shelf on the other side of the window and showing he was serious, hit the shelf and bounced so it ended up sticking straight out of my arm.

Last one I had is from when I was about 20. I was really self destructive for a couple years and just more or less didn't care too much. I was walking through a part of LA I knew I shouldn't have been, particularly that time of night and got mugged by two guys. Had a gun on me and everything, but instead of being smart about it, I talked back to them. Probably could have gotten myself killed, but the guys looked really nervous and were just trying to look tough. Guy behind me must have had some sort of blade, though I didn't see it. Gave me a good cut and then they both took off running. Didn't do any real damage other than bleeding a lot, but I've got the mark at least.

Wow, if you are just looking at wounds, my life sounds more interesting than it was.

Not so much external scarring but since I broke my Collar Bone back in October I've had it shift around and then heal... I have a weird bone now. >.>
I broke mine in half about 5 years ago. It doesn't ever heal 100%.

I can't bench/chest press or do push up's without having it click at the Sternoclavicular joint.

My right middle knuckle is entirely scar tissue from fighting, I have a large circular scar on my chest from being hit with a mortar firework and I have a scar under my chin from bashing in on the deck of an above ground pool.

I got them all over my right arm. A large circular one in my elbow from being shot in Guadalajara, Mexico from a drug deal gone wrong with Ruben and Hernando Martinez. Claw marks from a bear that I wrestled once. And some smaller scars from shrapnel from a car bomb that Ruben left for me after I killed his brother. I have pictures.

Just kidding. This is all from a car wreck at the end of May last year. The car slid off the road going around a bend and slammed sideways into a tree. In effort to protect my head and eyes, I pulled my arms up to cover my face and my right elbow went through the window and hit the tree and the glass sliced my arm pretty bad. I had around 17 stitches and needed surgery to remove the glass from arm.

There was some humor in it, though. When we called 911, the operator assumed we prank calling because my friend was confused and hysterical about the accident and asked, "What should I tell him." So we had to drive the wrecked car about 15 miles to the nearest hospital. And to keep everyone calm I started making jokes about my injury and talked about it the way a massive stoner would. Then in the hospital waiting room, the person at the desk asked what was wrong and I removed the shirts that wrapped around my arm and said, "THIS HAPPENED!" Then while I waited in the waiting room for a couple minutes, I noticed Family Guy was on one of the TVs so I called my friend over and said, "Could you point me to the TV? I want to watch Family Guy while I slowly bleed to death." Then after a little while longer, one of the receptionists said, "He doesn't look too good, we should get him some help," quietly to another another person at the desk, but I overheard and yelled, "OH? YOU THINK SO?"

I have a scar above my left eye. I was just innocently walking through my house (well I was running) and I tripped over my dads shoes and fell onto the coffee table. I also have a scar on my knee and I have no idea where it came from but it was probably one of my many trips as a kid.

Did you enjoy your trip?

I have a lot, but the only really noticeable one is the one I got about a week ago from getting my appendix removed.

At the age of 13 I fell off my bike and the end result was 3 dislocated fingers a cracked rib and the skin on my left arm and left leg was shaved off so bad that treated like a Bern victim. I have a lot of scars all over my body from other incidences because I'm an idiot.

Well if you followed the title, then you got half the question....

What i mean is, has a kid, we had our accidents, our misadventures... From falling, to getting hit, brawling or whatever you did, tell me my friends what is your scar...

We all have these little reminders of "that" accident we had...

i mean i got a scar on my knee from falling from my bike, and continuously falling downhill (dam flat tires), i got a scar in my arm from a dog bite (i was trying to seperate a dog fight... how stupid that was), i got glass cuts in my other hand (a glass broke in my hand... never understood why), i got a scar on my forehead (i fell against a glass table, the ones with sharp corners), and a scar in the top of my head from getting hit by a metal door...

all of these were made when i was a kid tough...

so tell me dear escapists... what are your scars, and how did you made them?

*EDIT*
I acctually remember from a scar i have on my foot, while playing with other kids on a carnnival, while using flippers....

i cutted the side of the foot and didnt noticed till 3 hours after, when i fell due to numbness from the leg.... i kept bleeding and no one noticed... till people freaked out there was blood all over the carnnival (we were playing hide and seek).
One foot scar, from a microwave motor impaling my foot.

Bounced off the coffee table at the age of 3. My eyebrow hasn't grown over it :p

Also, a dog ripped a big one in my arm.

That's about it.

I have a fair few... but I got most of them without even noticing.

Notable one is my hernia-op scar (about 7-8cm long on the right of my abdomen). Two scars on the right side of both legs which I got without feeling it (the thing on the side of my sister's bike for the bike stand-ey thing-ey was effectively a shear). Only noticed them when I took my blood-soaked socks off. A couple others from bumps and scrapes that don't really matter. And, lastly, one on my hand when I got shot at point-blank range during a paintball match and given it was January in Essex, hurt like fuck for about ten minutes before one of the girls up at the equipment store patched it up (perhaps that had something to do with the distinct lack of suffering).

When I was 5 my mom took me to the seaside with my kindergarden class and we sat in a cabin. The cabin's outerline was cemented.

Someone shouted that they saw a snake so the "explorer" side of me wanted to check it out.I tripped and fell headfirst onto the cement.Since I was so young my grandfather didn't taught me the fine art of "putting your two hands in front so you when you fall".My head was split open in my forehead, but luckily for me the fall didn't cause any conccusion or trauma. My mom used some spray called "Propolis" to quickly heal and "patch up" the wound.

Now the scar, which I will live with the rest of my life is a bullseye in the middle of my forehead.
