What is your threshold to differentiate 'some cash' from 'a lot of cash'?

I had never prior to your acknowledgement heard of this. But I guess it is. Hmm.

I seek to educate. Not surprised you hadn't heard of it before. I used to just call it the "Pile of Sand Problem" before I actually went and looked up exactly what it was called.

It varies on the situation.

As a student I say "I don't have a lot of cash" even though I have several hundreds pounds in my account because that money is all I have to live on for a while, and I need to make it last. If I had several hundred pounds in my account a year ago when I was doing my A Levels I would say "I have a lot of cash" because I didn't have to live on the money and I could spend it on what I liked.

Some cash to me is a few hundred dollars. A shit load of cash is how much I own for my college debts. My view of the two things has changed a lot of the last few years and gone up considerably. Too bad really. I used to think a lot of cash was enough to buy my new PS2! Oh how times change.

For wallet cash:
Anything under $10 is not that much
anything $10-$30 thats some-good amount of money.
Anything $30-$50 is "sweet I'm set."
Anything over $50 is alot
