Battle Hymn of the Republic. I have the full version on my mp3 player. But this gimped version they plaid for the Pope should give you the general idea. (and make you vomit if you hate nationalism)

Tell me "I have read a fiery gospel writ in burnished rows of steel" is not epic.

The Irish soldiers of the civil war also had some epic songs.(I have this verison on my mp3 player) This one has the most epic last fiew lines I can remember.

I have the whole soundtrack from Gladiator on my iPod. The whole thing is just epic from beginning to end. Especially the battle music and the music at the end with the end credits music.

But the most epic song is still "A Glorious Dawn" which is that song of Carl Sagan being auto-tuned. Gotta love Carl Sagan. Plus his voice is perfect for auto-tuning

Hmm...
Either
Poet and the Pendulum - Nightwish or
The Divine Conspiracy - Epica or
Mana - Equilibrium

Maybe even Swan Lake by Dark Moor.

Trogdor - Strong Bad, Frantic - Metallica, or Flight of the Bumblebee (IF I actually had it, but it is pretty epic)

I think I have Green Grass and High Tides on mine, which is basically the greatest song ever.
You are wrong but I understand why you have reached this conclusion. Green grass and high tides FOREVER, sir.

I was going to say Riders In the sky (the version on the same album as GG&HT) but then i remembered that the outlaws deigned to not include the last verse, which i think cheapens the song.

Because of this, I have decided that out of all the awesome music on my Zune, the most epic song of them all is a three-way-tie between Run To the Hills, Go Into the Water, and Skullcrusher Mountain

12 mins live version of November Rain by GnR, starts with a 2.5 min piano intro, ends with the regular guitar solo.

or 30 mins Beethoven's Symphony 7 Op.2
