What keeps you coming back to the escapist?

Mostly Zero Punctuation, but I also like the forums. But if Yahtzee were to leave or get sacked, you can bet that I would be leaving with him.

out of curiosity, when was the last time u laughed out loud at a zero punctuation?

"THERE IS NO MIDDLE FINGER BIG ENOUGH!" was a pretty funny line!

What's funny though is that when I start getting into a series, I will eventually start losing interest, like with Freeman's Mind, Civil Protection, the Half-Life series, Dexter and countless others, but Zero Punctuation has yet to, to me anyway, lose its ... I don't know, whatever it is that makes me keep coming back here every Wednesday at 12:00 noon since I watched my first Zero Punctuation sometime in December of last year (Epic Mickey, but I saw his YouTube stuff not long before that).

I first came here through Zero Punctuation. I heard about it from Explosm. The threads seemed interesting, and I wanted to participate, so I joined.

Why do I come back? Boredom.

...Alright. Because people here LOVE to talk about controversial stuff. I rarely get to talk to my brother, my sister just talks about herself, and my mom's seen it all, being 46, so she wants no part in our latest discussion about the legalization of drugs.

People like you who are actually great to socialize with and see your beliefs in Threads. Seriously, I always enjoy the community because they always have manners (well some.. if they don't judge you or flame you for whatever reason).

OT: Well, I love this website. The Threads are a good reason, especially friends (or people like who I quoted above me), the shows like Zero Punctuation, Extra Credits *sigh*, Unskippable and so forth. What really gets me going is the contests, badges, and news that makes me get drawn in ^_^. That, and I can express my custom Avatars.

anyway might as well put another reason, being that before escapist I never actually participated in internet forums (lurked in a few...was never too impressed) not to say there arnt other good forums out there but I'm more or less "familiar" with the escapist and I feel little need to branch out somwhere else

also people are more or less logical to say the least....bad logic will get you torn apart pretty quick (as I learned early on.....dont rage on a game then admit youve never actually played it)

Honestly, not a lot. I watch moviebob every now and then, I usually catch Name Game and Critical Miss, but I guess I'm really just here for the forums now. There's also a young lady on the Escapist that I miss talking to.

The things that keep me coming back vary, but it's usually the short videos by MovieBob, Yahtzee, and sometimes Feed Dump. Besides that, it's the rare articles and forum topics, but it's not really a whole lot and some days there's nothing that catches my interest at all. I still come back for those times that there is something that could make me ask questions.
