Chess, mostly. Also long drives (I am usually playing music or playing chess during them).

The best tool to keep your sanity is Virtual Insanity; so long as videogames let you bludgeon and murder people, you won't go apeshit in the real world

Some of the things that keep me at least somewhat sane are: being able to start up a game and just go kill everything and everyone (that is a major stress reliever), the music I like, and being able to take things in my life (at least so far) at my own pace.

Pretty much my optimism. If I wasn't so happy and thinking positively, I'd be a very violent person.

This. With all the shit that's gone down the past month, my car getting blow up, losing my job and my girlfriend, most people I know would probably understand if I lost it, but that's not my nature.

what keeps me sane would have to be; my music,having short meaningless chats with myself (i know kinda backwards), and I have to say my "security" necklace without that thing the population of were i live would drop a couple hundred in a very short time frame.

Videogames give me the escape I need from the real world, and my zune helps me when I dont want to hear the world around me when I'm in public.
