I give you Moosehead! The oldest and largest Canadian-owned brewery, Moosehead is the awesome. It was the beer I ordered on my 19th birthday (drinking age day in Canada) and I've been hooked ever since.

the only thing about Moosehead is it goes bad way too easy and you end up drinking skunky beer. it CAN be good but you have to get it at the right time, ie it hasn't been sitting in the back for a while.

i'm going to go this way with beer, being a beer drinker myself, i know not everyone likes the same beers. me and a friend do have similar tastes but we both like some very different ones.

so what do you like in a beer?
the ones you've tried are they lagers, ales or pilsners? there is a difference in taste between them all
do you prefer dark or light beer?
do you prefer it with a lighter feel to it or a more heavy feel to it?

all this has to be considered when drinking a beer and figuring out what you like. now with ales and lagers, there are some that taste like the other, ie an ale that's more like a lager and vice versa.

I don't know if Leinenkugel's is popular outside of the midwest, but that's usually my go to brew. In fact, I'm enjoying one right now.
Oktoberfest ftw

Maybe it would be best to not drink beer at all and you know not end up losing brain cells?
^ Are you speaking from experience?

This is an interesting question. I've never really found a beer I liked. Maybe I'll scroll through the suggestions you get.

I personally prefer to drink Airbeer. Tastes an infinite amount better than beer, because beer tastes like crap. Well, to me at least. I don't know how it tastes to people who drink regularly.

Heineken. I'd recommend you something else, but I doubt you'll import Norwegian beer.

Anyway, heineken does the job allright.
"Heineken?! Fuck that shit!.. Pabst! Blue Ribbon!"

(sorry, it's from Blue Velvet, I couldn't help myself)

Weirdly enough, I actually was gonna say PBR.. but just because it's cheap.

EDIT: DAMMIT!! Poster above beat me to it!
I see you're running low on PBR, my friend. Let me refill it.

Yeah, he won't be able to tell the difference.

Guinness is overrated swill. YMMV,of course. But people act like it's some sort of nectar from the gods because ,hey, it's IRISH!
Anyway. I'm partial to Anchor Steam. Good stuff if you can find it. Support your fine nation. Drink American. If you're American, otherwise disregard that.

I agree.

But as a Czech, my default answer has to be CZECH beer. They did, after all invent light beer [http://www.czech-netz.com/168/czech-beer.html].

Coors.

Also, I know you said no Sam Adams, but you might try the seasonal Sam Adams, Winter Lager. It's good, and I recently saw they're starting to sell it again.

Oh, and a beer called Blue Moon is really good, too, as well as one of the specialty beers by Michelob, Cherry Wheat.

EDIT: If you want to get drunk faster and can forgive an incredibly shitty taste, drink MX Ice, the crappy, more alcoholic by-product of Steel Reserve, which is crappy and high gravity to begin with.
