None, because I don't want or need one.
This is my ideal. But I do have a Motorola V547 that my mother gave me. It never has credit, and I don't take it out with me. It just sits on my desk for incoming calls...beats going downstairs to answer the house phone, I suppose.

A seven year old Samsung. It can make calls and send messages. That's all I aks of a cellphone.

Oh, and its apparently immortal/indestructible. I'm pretty sure no current day cellphone can survive some of the things it has been through. A dip in seawater, falling from my pocket while driving a motorcycle at 50mph, ... and it still works. Didn't do much for its looks though.

The Voyeger, although I probably should have gotten the Boulder since I've only had my phone for 3 months, and already beat the crap out of it.
I hat a Razr before this thing, and it got just destroyed. The boulder can take a beating like you wouldn't believe, and it's completely waterproof. It may not be as sleek as other phones, but it's made out of military-grgade materials, so there's that cool aspect.

I have a LGKC550, simply because it came with my £12.50 a month contract :)
I already have a Zen for music and Nikon D40 to take photos, so my phone gets used for txting and making phone calls.

Motorola Krazer, i have a nursing job and need all the pocket space I could get, but I don't trust my phone out of my sight.
At the time is was the skinniest phone I could get for free with my plan and texting isn't important to me, so I just wanted a skinny phone. Its nice, the power cord for it also fits my MP3 player so I can charge both anywhere.

Tiny keys + larger fingers = not fun at all.

Agreed. Agreed, agreed, agreed, agreed! That's why I can't use a damn qwerty keyboard on a phone. It's like the phone is mocking me.

Nokia N81 8Gb. Never cared much for cellphones but when my old one (N71) broke I had to get a new one, and seeing as I love Music, Movies and Photos this one was the best choice, it replaced my Ipod completely 2 days and 11 hours of music in it and still have spare memory to go =D.

LG Viewty because it was the best i could get when i was picking my contract. I renew in november/december and am hoping to get an iphone 3Gs. Preferably 32Gig or larger so it can replace my ipod touch as my general pocket media gadget.

I feel like such a whore to apple.

V3xx cause it was the cheapest with 3g
Vu cause it was free
and 3-4 others around.

One plus about att is you can just switch out sim cards with any phone.

HTC Kaiser - also known as a TyTnII or rebranded under an network operator such as the O2 Stellar.

Had a HTC Prophet before it (Orange M600) and I love them, I don't have the issue most seem to take with windows mobile, the slide out qwerty keyboard is great for texting, the push email & blackberry connect mean I can email as easily as a text (plus with a carte blance data tariff it's free).

Opera mobile is a great web browser for checking sites whilst on the move, the wifi is great at covering the areas where I don't get HSDPA speeds and for fault checking wireless setups.

The "Tilt" on the screen makes watching movies on the train great (via stereo bluetooth headphones with A2DP control).

Camera takes perfect shots in good light, bit blurry in the dark but then so is my 13 megapixel samsung digi-cam which has supposed to have two anti-blur controls. Video's not great but good enough for catching the odd random clip.

Have an 8GB micro-sd card in it which is no where full even with a fair few vids and music on it.

Sync easily enough with my windows computer (calender and contacts with outlook) and MS are offering a nice online service which also backs up your phones contents to the web incase you lose/break it - or in my case upgrade the ROM from 6.0 to 6.1 - all contacts, texts, pictures, music and movies sync'd right back where I left them.

Have some classic games like monkey island one and two and a couple of emulators that work well, such as the gameboy, gamegear, snes and megadrive so always got plenty of games to while away the hours commuting.

As I'm out alot on my own with work my phone really needs to do alot to keep me entertained and also alot for work where mobile office comes in and this does everything I could need (even helps me get to where I'm going with tomtom and googlemaps apps using the GPS).

Can't recommend it highly enough for a handset that came out months prior to the original iPhone it's better than my mates 3G (haven't seen an S yet), well, for me at least - though saying that I'm chewing at a bit until my contract runs out and I can grab a Touch HD 2 with larger screen, faster processor and more ram.

A sony ericsson W910i. Why? I liked it in the shop and it was only £90 with £15 free credit and 500 free texts.

I bought a Nokia 6500 Slide in black, 'cause I loved the look of it, and have never had a slide phone before. The bloke at the shop recommended the 6600 instead, but I much preferred the 6500. I've had it since February, it's a lovely little thing, the video camera memory is staggering, the quality of pictures decent, I can chat to people no problem. The buttons are a tad small, but not as small as some phones I've seen. Overall, I'm very happy with it, and it seems to be pretty indestructible. It's heavy, which I like, 'cause then I know where it is when I can feel it in my pocket.

iPhone 3G, 8GB.

Why? Because after a couple of months of reading technical and user reviews, play-testing with people's phones, I finally decided it would suit me quite well. It does everything I need out of a phone, plus a heap of stuff I didn't know I'd find bloody useful.

I was once one of those sad bastards that got shitty about everyone and their cool phones by saying "If I need a camera, I'll use a camera! And if I need music, I've got my mp3 player! And if I want to play games, I've got a PSP/DS!" but then I realised I couldn't be arsed carrying around all this crap in my bag, so I slimmed down to the Nokia N95, which was a great little beast.

In the end, the iPhone was a natural choice. In retrospect, though, the camera could have been vastly improved.
yeah that sad bastard was me
if it works for you man great but i can carry all my shit with me
im a fireman so im going 2 days at work and 3 days at home thats why it works for me.
i need more than 8 gigs of music and movies. not hating on your phone but it doesnt make sense for me.

I have the non-existent kind, because I don't want people to be able to call me wheresoever I am.
