And that gives me the impression that you are either a troll or a simpleton.

It does make things a bit harder from time to time to not care about things and people that don't concern me, but then I live pretty good with it.
Since I don't care about you, I don't care about you being mad at me. Now if you were my boss and were offended, I still wouldn't care, since I know I'm good enough at what I do that I have a certain choice about who I'm working for and I certainly do not want to work for somebody who's offended as soon as I mention cancer because he lost someone when he was 15. Bohoo, grow up, get over it.
And comments like these make me wonder whether you are deliberately being an ass and completely avoiding the point of my posts or are you truly so stupid that you cannot grasp a simple concept that would require the slightest hint of intellect to observe.

And since you so wonderfully attacked my last post with pointless comments, i cant see anyone wanting to hire or work with someone who has seemingly absolutely no regard for other people and how their actions/comments may affect them.

I'm working towards a masters in Aerospace Engineering. I'm currently finishing up a BS in Professional Aeronautics after a career in the US Air Force. The end goal design for Lockheed would be awesome.

My questions to you are: What kind of education are you following?
I'm currently doing a PhD in electrical engineering (high voltage) in the Netherlands (in my 3rd year, 1 more to go).
Before that I studied electrical engineering in Austria.
Information about the education system in Austria can be found here: http://www.bildungssystem.at/ (also available in english)
Primary school -> regular secondary school -> VET college (that's NOT veterinary in Austria ;-)) -> University

What motivated you to pursue that specific subject?
I wonder that myself quite often ;-)
With hindsight I should have started chemistry or material science. But since my PhD project is what I make of it, I started to get into chemistry now. Better late than never.

What are the most interesting subjects you find there?
See above. I am fascinated by how things grow at molecular level and how we can influence that to improve certain material properties.

What do you plan to do after you graduated?
I plan to work in the US or Canada for some years. Or maybe somewhere Asia. No fixed plans.

Specter_ doesn't care about things so what you are telling him is of little importance to him. Both of you may ask why I am getting involved and there is no real reason.
