What kind of games do you think are definitely not for the weak-hearted?

That is the only moment in any form of fiction in which I'd say I have been close to scared. Although the video doesn't do it justice compared to playing it for the first time in the pitch black with the volume fairly high.

Dead Rising, the part after you beat the clown and he falls on his mini chainsaws while laughing... The game wasn't scary but that part got to me.

Modern Warfare 2, specifically 'No Russian'. I don't get queasy very easily, but midway through that level I had to pause for a minute. Something about that level made me nauseous.

THE game.

You just lost it. How does that feel?

EDIT: Also, Fatal Frame. FFFFFUUUUUUU- suicide.

Manhunt 1 + 2 due to the principal of close-up shots of doing horrific things to people, as well as the overall idea of the games in that they are all about hunting down people and executing them. Don't get me wrong, I love the games but when you think about them... there're quite sick.
These are the only games aren't for the weak hearted, most games just have monsters jumping out and shouting boo. These games scare the shit out of you.
The heartbeat isn't all the way through the game.

You honestly believe these guys are bat shit crazy and 'cos of the brutal deaths, you really don't want to die.
Manhunt is a brilliant game, in a very dark and disturbing way.

STALKER

Holy shit is that game intense.
Ah, crawling on your belly between anomalies!
Squinting into the darkness trying to find a bloodsucker that would just love to show you how it got its name!
Dodging the army who want to trade your loot for their bullets!
It's a stalker's life for me!

In other news, PC gaming. You better love your settings and technobabble. Luckily, I do.
So, do you want an SLI set-up for your PCI-e GPU? And are you going for a standard SATA HD or a RAID array? Can you run that game with 2x AA or 4x? Vsync, turn it off. Quad core CPU? AMD or Intel? Nvidia or ATI? Yeah, I have 4GB of DDR2 RAM. Maybe I should upgrade to DDR3. But my new GPU, a GTX 275, has GDDR5 or something.
See?

Manhunt. I can see some people crying that they just strangled someone with a shopping bag or used a electric drill and shoved it down someones throat to kill them.

My second favorite on the PS2. It took what people thought was a violent and bloody game and made it look like Barbie's dream house, then made it more violent and gory than most horror films.

Fear 2 had its moments, and silent hill zombies can look really creepy..I remember this one monster from one of the old games that crawled on the floor, gave me some funky nightmares!

Two games in particular (which are also two of my favorites) come to mind:

1.Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines. Awesome game but there are plenty of moments that a weak-hearted person would cringe at. Like the one cannibal vampire chick whose name I can't remember.

2. Eternal Darkness: Sanity's requiem. If you know anything about this game I don't think I need to go into detail.

I'd say Prey. The game's atmosphere was pretty intense, and those first few chapters were probably some of the scariest parts of a game I've ever played.

Bioshock 1 and 2 had some extremly scary "Oh Shit!!!" moments. Bioshock 1 had a scarier atmosphere than 2, but they can both really scare the shit out of you at times.

Dead Space at the middle of the night, no lights, almost max volume on the TV on a first play through is still the scariest thing I have ever done/seen/heard.

Silent Hill 1, 2 and 3... and resident evil 1 on the gamecube always got to me. I think it was because you could here a pin drop on that game... there was nooo music :S which made walking through a corridor a lot scarier when you're not moving and you hear a footstep or something moan :/
