From what I hear you don't have what is known as the Chav. They are spreading. So yeah I'm not quite sure if things are better. In case [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chav] you didn't know [http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=http://www.briscoebarnyard.com/pictures/chav.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.fastestlaps.com/car_Hyundai_Coupe_27_V6.html&h=346&w=300&sz=105&tbnid=r5ps1QtdwDYJJM:&tbnh=120&tbnw=104&prev=/images%3Fq%3DChav&usg=__OLxbBcFI-OKKYwCwHwx_oEVwszY=&sa=X&ei=rSZrTMLLFI7R4waug8DEDg&ved=0CCEQ9QEwBA] what they are. So I was at the theater tonight watching Scott Pilgrim when the people start coming in to see it (my friend and I were the first ones there) and one person catches my eye. It's a guy with his sun glasses on backwards and all I can think about is "How retarded does he look?" also "Is that a hipster?" Seriously though, what kind of person is this guy? I've never seen anyone do that and in my personal opinion I think it's retarded and doesn't look cool in anyway, so yeah is this guy a hipster?
Sounds to me like he's doing the 'face on the back of his head' thing. Other than that it does sound kind of stupid, but I wouldn't go and assume he's a moron immediately. Why do you care so much?

Also, irrelevant to this, I hate sunglasses.

Wait, were they on the back of his head? Maybe he thought he was cousin It?

Would that even be comfortable? I've never seen anyone older than five do that, and to be fair the kid didn't know how glasses worked.

if he likes the way he looks and you like the way you look shall we let each other express ourselves free from judgement?

well the rolling of the pants leg was popular in the late 90's

the Criss Cross phase happend in the early 90's and involved walking around with your clothes on backwards. I lived in Vermont at the time and there we're a couple of kids that we're into this...imagine that. you live in new england and you have to go to school with a couple of dumb white kids that think wearing there clothes on backwards was hip.

Huh. Forgot about chavs, my condolences. The biggest rising threat to america at the moment would be Guidos. http://www.mtv.com/shows/jersey_shore/season_2/series.jhtml

Not sure if my first post worked so I'll probably double post. :( (Yup double posted)

But like this?

So it looks like we're all fucked. Great. We just have to band together and I'm sure it'll pass in twenty years. [small] or get worse. [/small]

It's only a matter of time before we export the chavs over to you anyway.

I see some people do that around here, but not sure if it's to be "extra cool" or whatever. If it stays on that way, then I guess it's no different than front or back, but I do see what it could potentially say about someone's attitude which may or may not apply.

Dude everything is progressively getting cooler backwards, first hats, then sitting backwards in chairs, that thing in movies where the guy spins his car around and shoots the badguys, now sunglasses, which Is why I've started doing everything backwards, granted backwards pants may not fit right but I am starting a trend.

Wearing sunglasses on the back of your head? People do it because they like messing around, its like putting a necklace around your wrists.

i'm not sure what the big deal is. if you go into a building, you don't have them on, for it is generally too dark. it's the same as putting them on your head

I've seen people doing that and it does look mighty stupid. It's not what I have in mind when someone says hipster though.
