So I was at the theater tonight watching Scott Pilgrim when the people start coming in to see it (my friend and I were the first ones there) and one person catches my eye. It's a guy with his sun glasses on backwards and all I can think about is "How retarded does he look?" also "Is that a hipster?" Seriously though, what kind of person is this guy? I've never seen anyone do that and in my personal opinion I think it's retarded and doesn't look cool in anyway, so yeah is this guy a hipster?
I usually see fake-tanned, orange, jock-douchebags doing that.

Same here that's all I ever see wearing them like that.
also that's something I don't understand. Do they honestly think that ANYONE will think that the orange tan is natural?
They don't look human they just look like genitically engineered oranges made to look like people.

Meh, so someone wears something differently, so long as they are not acting like an idiot or annoying me I couldn't care less. I would just think "that looks silly" and move on.

I do believe this boy you saw is what we call a tool. Definition - A person, typically male, who says or does things that cause you to give them a 'what-are-you-even-doing-here' look. The 'what-are-you-even-doing-here' look is classified by a glare in the tool's direction and is usually accompanied by muttering of how big of a tool they are. The tool is usually someone who is unwelcome but no one has the balls to tell them to get lost. The tool is alwasys making comments that are out-of-place, out-of-line or just plain stupid. The tool is always trying too hard to fit in, and because of this, never will. However, the tool is useful because you can use them for things; money, rides, ect.
Very nice made me lol tyvm.

You know what's even more annoying?
8th graders that are smaller than my left thigh, wearing pants under their knees and pretending to be hip gangstars. xD
I just look at them and die a little inside. Then they start trying to "gangsta ma' ass" and I burst out laughing into their faces.

Apparently that's in style now and I really hope that it doesn't last long. I've seen multiple people do it and it not only looks uncomfortable but makes you look like an idiot.

Also, wearing sunglasses in a movie theater is stupid in the first place.

At first I thought you meant he had them balancing on his nose, but the the temple arms pointing out in front...
Anyway, it sounds like a thing I might do to amuse a couple of friends. Or he might have put them on his head and they'd fallen down. If he was serious, then I suppose it's a new trend that I haven't heard of. Each to their own I guess.

Haha. Made me laugh. I've seen people do it before but rarely. And the term is hipster is never used in the UK so I can't help you there. But yeah he's probably just trying to be different/cool.
I think that our Indie's are the equivalent of the Hipsters over in America.

OY: Yeah, probably just trying to look 'awsum'. Maybe he was brain damaged. It's hard to tell with people like that.
I vote brain damaged, either that or he's been paid to do that

I don't think you can fully enjoy watching a movie in a theater while wearing shades. He had to put them somewhere.

Besides, were his sunglasses really that distracting?

you will see hipsters at scott pilgrim... except for me and like... three other people in the theatre I watched it in, they were all hipsters... in fact, all the characters in that movie are hipsters... so it's logical. But that guy... well you didnt give much of a description but it sounds logical for him to be wearing his sunglasses like that... in fact, when you have hair, it doesnt even seem as retarded as one might think.

things are apparently much better in the UK
Difference in england is that it rains too much and is too cloudy to ever need sunglasses, so the chances of this happening is very slim

wearing sunglasses the wrong way round gives better UV protection
I second that :D, although it would leave an interesting tan on the back of your head...
