I have an RCA mp3 player (Not sure what model it is, will check), and a Sony something. I also used to have a working Element mp3 player.

The RCA pissed me off at first, because the fucking software that supposedly came with it didn't load upon USB uplink.
The latter one works fine.
The Element's solder for the headphone jack broke, disabling it, and when I went in to try and fix it, I didn't know how it opened up, so I accidentally broke the speaker cord too. Still have yet to fix it.

To be honest, as long as it plays music, I'm fine.

Its called not being a tool and not using crappy Ipods and Itunes.

I own a 8 gig Sony Walkman, and I salute all those who don't use Ipods for music

An old 512MB one that a mate of mine gave me. I don't really listen to music much.

I own the coolest kind: it is located in my head, and I can play the song over the loudspeakers located in my mouth. As you can probably guess, I don't have one and am quite depressed about it.

Do you count watches that play music but also plays videos and is a phone? Because if you do then my answer is a watch that plays music but also plays videos and is a phone. I don't know how much it holds but I haven't needed to delete anything yet.
And I am extremely satisfied.

An original 2gb iPod Nano which I bought second hand for £10 for the primary use of listening to in the car.

160GB Sixth gen Ipod Video. It's kinda old now. But I wouldn't need a new one. Holding something like 6000 songs and never failed me.

I have a 8 gig Ipod Nano. And it keeps breaking on me in some small and irritating way but not serious enough to be more than an annoyance. It will burn in Ipod hell.

I got sick of buying iPod's that break when you touch them and I tend to lose expensive things.

I got the R4 for my DS and use it for all my music. It's awesome. It's huge and clunky but I've dropped the thing, ran over it with my car, scratched it up real good, and it works as good as the day I bought it. Plus now I don't have to carry a DS and an mp3 player with me. I've only got so much pocket space..

I've also got a backup discman in case. And a backup walkman in case that fails. Now that's ancient.
I've even got Savage Garden on cassette tape somewhere *shamefully admits

My good MP3 player broke a couple of months ago and I haven't been able to replace it yet so I'm currently using my backup. It's a silver 4- or 8-gig (I don't know which) MyMusix MP3 player that straight-up REFUSES to charge on this computer so I have to use it sparingly and find other means to charge it.

Creative Zen X-Fi 8GB (+ an 8GB SD memory card). I like it and it's good enough for my needs and budget. Bought it last summer.
