2GB iPod. I brought it when I only had a few CDs but was really into them. I should upgrade soon...

A Sony High-MD Mini Disc player. It is well over five years old at this point and is slowly falling apart. But it delivers good music still.

120GB iPod Classic. My mates look upon it with disdain while using their pretty iPod Touches because my screen is tiny. I love it anyway because it's much more robust than the touch and nano, and my music collection is growing steadily, so I would prefer something can hold everything if I need it to.

I have a creative zen that I hardly ever use because all the music I like isn't available on iTunes and even if it was iTunes doesn't feel like cooperating with me.

Heh, I possess a rather old Thomson Lyra.
Small capacity, button covers have fallen off, worn out ear-phone port, rust, cover has fallen off the battery compartment, scratches all over the screen.
I wouldn't trade it for a new MP3.
It is mine, and I love it.

Mp3 player?

Is that a vague sexual euphemism? Are you coming on to me? Excuse me, I have a call on my giant brick of a cellphone, which I bought back in the 80's. Just let me turn off my Walkman first, though.

I don't own an mp3 player, simply because I can't use it at work, and I don't have a vehicle that can directly 'use' one; ie- I don't have a vehicle new enough to directly plug the thing into, so I'm not going to bother getting a minimum of 2 extra corded pieces of electronics that will clutter up my damn car.

Also, if that WAS a vague come-on, I didn't ask you to stop... :D

im waiting for a canadian retailer to stock the new Creative Zen X-Fi2 with touch screen.
I have one of those (32GB) and its good with decent video playback, and great audio quality, but the software that comes with it is a bit pants. Since I figured out how to use winamp to make playlists for it, I haven't touched the official software.

A 16gb iPod Touch. I absolutely adore it.

It's almost perfection.
Same as me and, OP, how the hell did you get a post count like that in 3 weeks?
To finally answer your question, becoming a forum games regular. : )
Ah, I'm not into forum games. Probably why I see all these people with big post counts that I've never seen before.

8 gig Zen X-Fi2. Worst mp3 player I have ever purchased. Don't get one. Creative's other mp3 players are amazing, though.

Simple thread, what kind of music player do you have. Also state whether you like it or not.

Me I own an "ancient" 30 Gig Ipod Video and I feel neutral about it. It is simple yet frustrating at times.
First generation 30gig Zune. AKA: The Brick.

I liked it (though the inability to use it as a hard drive, and being forced to use Microsoft's proprietary (and annoying) software is utter shite.

At this point though, while it HAS survived me for... However long I've had it... 4 years? Which is impressive! It hasn't survived completely intact. At this point, I have 40 songs on it, 3/4 of which are unplayable. Pretty much all I can do with it is listen to the radio, which kinda sucks.
