What kind of person are you?

I am a beta. I'm not the final product, but whenever someone needs to see something done, I will step in and take the lead. More of a "when I'm forced to" scenario. If someone else who is a born leader steps in, I hold back and work as more of a 2nd-in-command.

I have no idea. Zero self-esteem, and I tend to put others first because I'm not really worth the effort.

I like having few friends but lots of acquaintances. I need quite a bit of space, so sometimes I will just disappear for a week and I get bored of possessive people quickly.
I am competitive only to the point where it is still fun. I hate confrontations, and I usually avoid or ignore people I dislike.
I like joking constantly and I laugh at myself often... and I like people capable of laughing at themselves too.
I usually feel the need to help people, but I really hate being used (or lied to), so I'm very careful when lending a hand.
I really try to be open minded and learn from my mistakes.

Most of the time, I'm a complete *****. I'm sarcastic and rude to anyone who isn't among my very select group of friends. I'm the kind of person that won't give a damn if you've got problems, and I'll go on a date with a guy just because I'm hungry. I'm not above flirting to get things I want, and I'll talk behind your back as soon as look at you.

If you are in my very select group of friends, then I'm lovely. I'd drive across the country if you needed me to, stay up through the night listening if you need an ear. Someone upsets you, then I'll rip their fucking head off.

You and me both. I'm down here on a six month deployment. They tell us the training is so that we can get to know each others personalities, and how to work more efficiently with each other. Here's the kicker... they made us do it in our last half a month. Great, now I know how to work better with my colleagues two weeks before I go. Idiots.

I'm not a nice man, but I'm a good man. Being nice, in my perspective, is speaking or acting in a way contrary to how you speak or feel (ever heard the phrase "just being nice"?). I don't bullsh*t people; I say what I feel and when I say something complementary, you don't have to wonder if I'm saying it just to make you feel better.

Not that I make it a point to hurt people's feelings, not being nice is not the same as being mean. If I don't like someone, I can just as easily ignore them as insult them. As a matter of fact, those that know me understand that the best way to tell I don't care for someone I'll be the epitome of politeness towards them. Joking around and insulting is for friends who know the spirit it's done in and will give back just as good.

I have a slim social circle made up only of people I trust entirly. I'm always there for those select few and would probably even die for them. I'm kind and careing to them. Other people I meet I keep a very shallow relatoinship to. They are "expendable".

I would not judge a person based on other peoples experiences and stories.

I'm charming, outspoken/outward and charismatic apperently. Probably comes with being a dick. My ego is way out there.

I am the type of guy you stare at because he looks like a real creep, but who (apparently) is really, really, really nice and compassionate. Thats according to ever girl i know who didn't think i was creepy and as such avoided me.
