I've had a nightingale that was eaten by my cat, which then proceeded to impregnate every cat in the neighborhood. For years until around 2006 that cat left its children, which would in turn leave their children.

well, in total my family has had 6 fish, 6 cats, and 2 hamsters.
we now have 1 cat and 2 fish.
the first cat was given away when it was discovered that i was allergic. it's almost definately dead, since it was around a year older then me.
we eventually got another cat, originally a stray, cannot come indoors, had 4 incredibly stupid kittens which all died from a fox, with the remaining cat getting quite old now. we think it's around 14.
2 fish died of old age, and another 2 died when we tried to keep 4 in the tank, which was too many apparently.
one hamster died of some form of infection, the other died of old age.
we will never get a dog, since both me and my dad hate dogs.

I had a crap load of cats but they either died or we gave them away.
Also had two dogs but we gave them away and a budgerigar but he flew away.

i like animals in general but my mum LOVES them, about 3 years ago there was a two month period where we had a new dog every week. right (now not including the puppies we have) my family owns about fifty give or take dogs, 20 soso cats and a handfull of birds. but in the past we have had gerbals chinchilas chipmunks fish. but its safe to say that i havent slept very well for my entire life.
personaly however i love small dogs or big dogs with really floppy ears. I currently have 3 dogs forget the breed but they are very cute and either eally dumb or total genius... i cant decide.

I'm mostly a cat person, I've had five cats, and on one occasion a rabbit than ran away. We also have a couple of chickens out back in the yard.
