What kind of shooter are you?

I like to play Stealth demolitions myself, my equipment will tend to be as follows:

SMG - Great at close range and OK at medium.
Pistol - Mostly a last resort weapon but can be OK at taking out enemies at medium to long range so you can conserve your ammo.
C4 - Take out the enemies command assets to assist my team.

Close quarters thanks to Halo and Gears of War. Very tactical and trying to constantly push the enemy back.

I am a horrifyingly bad shot, so I prefer something with a large ammo capacity and high rate of fire. I love light machine guns. Terrible for close quarters, but I prefer to set up a wall of fire over an enemy's position.

I don't play stealthily, as I prefer to wait a mile away with a sniper rifle... provided I don't get shot immediately...

Guns blazin' all the way. If somethings in my way I kill it, end of story. I love shotguns, but I also don't mind rifles.

Stealth usually. Some kind of silenced, long ranged weapon (maybe an assault rifle) along with a silenced pistol. This is more because I suck at FPSs than anything, so playing like this normally assuages the difficulty for me.

I usually go offensive/agile since I like getting into the action and not being slowed down by heavy weapons. Although if a game has flame based weapons then I tend to use those since burning things is always fun, unless they slow me down a lot, then I don't use them. I like to move fast and get right into the fray while liberally applying the concept of "KILL IT WITH FIRE!" to all my enemies. That's my shooter style.

I'm more of the bipolar team member.
The one who goes from either recklessly wasting ammo with a flamethrower or a minigun, then quietly waiting in the back with a sniper rifle for the perfect headshot.
Never any middle ground though >.>

Lol, this for me too But I suck at most FPSs, I enjoy a small portion of the very unorthodox ones (Crysis games, Bioshock et cetera...) but I don't like the standard ones. In Crysis it is stealth all the way.

Stealth: Sniper rifle & Silenced Pistol / knife

Offensive / Agile: Assualt rifle / AK47 with Uzi / Pistol

Offensive / Heavy: Minigun / Flamethrower / Antitank rifle / Missile Launcher

Melee: Pistol & Knife / Bunt

Demolition / Grenadier: C4, grenades, emp, mines with Uzi

Tactition: M4 / M16 / AK47 with M9 Pistol

Powerhouse: Shotguns / Double Barrels with Colt

I am the guy that doesn't get killed very often, but as a consequence doesn't get a lot of kills either. I like being defensive and cautious. Snipers and semi-auto rifles (FN FAL for life) for me.

ya me too always been more of a sniper or even just the type to hide until it's ideal. When I play paintball I am great at getting those long shots.

ahhaahha me too I remember playing paintball for a entire day I got way more kills that killed but I only ever used half a hopper and everybody else went through at least 3 each just because I took my time and only shot if I knew I would get it and still be able to remain unseen

Sniper would be the preferrence for most outdoor situations, or atleast a long range rifle.
For close quarters/urban, stealth with a silenced weapon and a knife would probably be the preferrence.

as game example, sniper and spy in TF2 would be the preferred choice.

I am all over the offense/tatcian.(Yes I am mixed). Assault rifles, SMGs, and pistols. Take point, breach, take position to defend next wave, move. Its horrible how everyone has to knief/shot gun u a moderate range.
