What kind of story would you write?

I'm not so much writing as I am thinking about writing. I'm still hammering out all the details in my head, so eventually I'll actually get to it.

So far it's a fantasy about two lost souls who simply want to find out about their past. Doing so pulls them into a whole hell of a world of conspiracy, horrifying magic and reality, and an all-knowing immortal who is pulling every string imaginable to bring about a prophesized end of the world. Oh, and all three of them are actually fragmented souls of ancient Gods, and there is a ring that kills people in a most sad or nightmarish way.

I know it sounds rather "done before", but there's a lot more originality in the details, I swear.

Mine would probably be a Sci-Fi story. Leaves lots of room to explore.

Well, I'm currently writing something and have multiple things in development. I generally sway towards science fiction, for the time being.

Right now I've got chapter one nearly finished, and need to write a prologue. It's time travel based, and we all know that can be some sticky territory, but I'm working on it.
