Man, that game would be scenery porn start to finish.

I love any and all fantastical space settings.

With the release of Bioshock Infinite and Dishonored, I'm happy that my love of steampunk-ish settings will be satisfied.

But WWI. I know it's not as exciting as WWII, but come on, it has... a cool part or two.

A game where it combines Parkour and Sniping. So you run from point to point with a spotter,(or you can play as spotter) parkour style. So the realism would be off the charts, actual sniping tactics would have to be implemented, like no more than two shots from one point in a snipe-out.
Setting up your spot would be in the game. So your spotter would get out his/her equipment and so would you and vice a versa.
Multiplayer is available, so you can play spotter and your friend can play shooter, or vice a versa. And the opposition would also be working together as well. And their will also be other sniper teams on your sides.
Infiltration and extraction is also in gameplay. So can you do awesome James Bond stuff like, HALO jumps and the Fulton air recovery system.
Also a focus on weight, so if using a Barrett, you will have to depart the upper and lower receiver and the spotter and sniper will have both have to carry the weight, so you can do parkour gameplay.
Obviously being a realistic sniping game, it would require alot of waiting. So the setting would change from the amazon and cities(New York and Toyko). Meaning there would be civilians to see whether they are a threat. Or animals that distract you from the mission. So some of the gameplay would be waiting and watching, just to juxtapose the climatic parkour.
Sounds cool. Kind of Metal Gear meets Mirror's Edge. I'd play it.

I remember when Shivering Isles came out. That expansion brought back all the wonder I experienced playing Morrowind as a kid. When the first room dissolved into butterflies I knew I would enjoy the expansion more than the game it expanded on.

An island entirely made out of SPIDERS!

I WOULD NEVER PLAY THAT GAME EVER. But it'd be fun to see.
You mean a game set in Australia? Huh, now that I think of it, I can't think of any that take place there.
Hey! -_-

We also have crocodiles over here :p

OP: An Adventure game that just lets you explore while having puzzles and challenges to overcome in a land that just has new and imaginative creature or all the animals of the world in it.

I want a game at the bottom of the ocean. Not technically bottom of the ocean like Bioshock but actually exploring reefs and trenches in the deep.

I think the original Crash Bandicoot is supposed to take place there. I could be wrong though.

OT: I have no idea.
Beneath a Steel Sky is set in Australia, and is free on GOG, with some work it would probably run on a scientific calculator.

I'm just waiting for either a single player CRPG or MMO based on Twilight 2000 (Cold War Apocalypse Nostalgia FTW) or the Paranoia! MMO that surely must be coming soon. The Computer is your friend. Trust the Computer.

A fantasy "Inception-esque" dream world that assembles, reassembles and breaks down as you move through it.

Basically something like Memoria from FF IX only way bigger.

I kind of want to see a clean, non-dystopic future, with only light cyberpunk. Something like the new Tron but replace all the black with white and not perpetual night.

Bastion has the assembling part down, dunno if about breaking down.

You might get that from the new DmC, to some effect, if the trailer is any indication.
