I didn't take any languages. I got them forced on me.

That said: French, Italian, Chinese (Mandarin, I think).

I took italian last year and I'm taking it this year. Only two years are required to graduate, but with the colleges I may have a chance to get into I might want to take Italian III. Even though I won't touch foreign language in college unless required.

To be honest, I want to drop italian after this year and take Programming 2 instead. I have a better chance of using Java in my life than fucking italian.

I took French, and never realized how big a mistake it was until I heard Ralphie May to stand up. "Oh yeah, millions of French people sneak into america every day!"

/sigh

Right, let's see if my Latin lessons haven't failed me...'Marcus doesn't love Sextus because the boy is naughty'? Close?

Anyway, aside from the Latin (not studying any more), I've taken French (ditto), and I'm still studying Mandarin Chinese, which isn't as difficult as everyone thinks. The speaking side of things, anyway...

Latin. I took the language that I know for a fact that I'll never ever use.

But I do know how to say "Rome is in Italy"!

For the first 8 grades, I was in French Immersion, then in high school I took one year of spanish, which I learnt very easily because of the french. Then after I graduated I taught myself Italian (also extremely easy) and I'm now working on learning Tagalog, so I can pick up all the hot little teeny tiny Filipino women. OMG every one of them is so hot. Some would say I'm a cunning linguist, mostly women, mostly.

Very close!
Marcus doesn't love/like Sextus because the boy is annoying/a pest.

I tried Latin and Spanish and couldn't learn either (though I did much better with Latin). It probably had something to do with the fact that I wasn't even given an option to learn a new one until I was thirteen, and every linquistic experts and their dog says the ability to learn one goes down the toilet by the time you're twelve.

English, which is mandatory in Norway (11 years of it, in fact), and Spanish for five years (partially mandatory. Had the choice between Spanish, French and German).

I don't know much Spanish, though, even after five years.
