what about a lego game that actually involves lego
you could have an attack and defend mode where one player builds a [thing] to defend and the other builds some sort of weaponry to destroy it

Clearly you guys do not remember/never played the old school Lego games.
In my mind, the only good Lego games were Lego Racers, Lego Chess and Lego Rock Raiders.

Lord of the Rings. Why does that not exist already? It's so damn obvious, and it's absolutely perfect for the lego gameplay. I'm sure it'd get Tolkien turning in his grave, but still.

Also, maybe Lego Mass Effect, though I somehow suspect the dialgoue will be removed in favor of a default Lego Commander John Shepard acting paragon-style and having hearts for eyes for Lego Liara.
Still, I can already imagine Mass Effect cutscenes portrayed Lego style. Lego John Shepard shaking his fist at a Lego Sovereign hologram on Lego Virmire, anyone?

lego RTS would be cool (AoE style), i can just imagine a whole bunch of legomen attacking a big lego castle while getting hit by flaming lego bricks fired from a lego trebuchet
